I'll throw one out there that I'm not even sure how much I believe in myself, but there may be a case for it....
...sticking with grass as a playing surface in Jack Trice. (gasp)
I think the concerns about late-season field performance are well-documented, and valid - particularly in this era where late November and early December games are common. But I'm thinking about it mostly in terms of the potential for revenue by opening up the stadium to large concerts and other events. Particularly now that you've got a huge RV tailgating space and potentially an entertainment district coming in. Wells Fargo stole all of Hilton's concerts but Jack Trice offers the one truly huge venue in central Iowa that nothing else can match.
But perhaps they evaluated the feasibility of that and decided it couldn't be done.
