Getting rid of the tornado logo. It's was iconic.

This. Sooo many schools have an animal/bird as their logo or just letters as we have currently. A tornado is the most unique thing we could have branded ourselves with

What do you think are the worst changes within or around the various programs? Parking, game-day traditions, cutting programs, etc?

Personally;

1 - Not using running Cy enough.
2 - Getting rid of the blimp in Hilton.
3 - Getting rid of the Helmet mobile at FB games.
4 - Plan to get rid of half the big parking between Hilton and JTS (BB parking is going to suck ass).

Removal of the Hamn's Beer Song pre tip off at basketball games and replacing it with effing Jock JamJams.

Not emphasizing football after losing Majors and Earl Bruce. If we had done what Iowa did and prioritize it in the early 80s we are likely in a better spot, from a realignment standpoint.

The Bugle and current I State logos; we already have a number of sweet cyclone based options to go with a great mascot/school theme and we end up with the most generic option and an upside down poop emoji.

Using blue as a tertiary color.

Actual designer here, not just Holiday Inn Express. The newer identity system shows deep red achieves the same purpose drastically better with no confusion.

With the black uni alternates, at least it's a neutral color. The blue really set back brand identity a lot.

Not owning the Cyclone/Cy as the mascot in everything branding. We're the only one. Multiple Tigers, Bulldogs, Eagles, etc. The I-State logo is a miss yet we've had it for 15ish years.

Disagree because Cy isn't a Cyclone. He's a little confusing inherently.

The I-State can be criticized for being too classic looking or not unique enough, but I think it's a good idea overall.
