Just dump KXNO permanently. Get SiriusXM for your car and the free app for your iPhone. Tons of great stations for sports and an unlimited amount of music.

I haven't listened to the radio in years. There's more hours of podcasts out there than you can ever listen to.

Then Spotify for music. All for $0 per month.

I honestly have not listened to fanatics much after Chris left and found myself changing the channel a lot when I did. I'm a bit surprised iheart doesn't just fill the time slot with a national show now. Any combination of the guys they have rotated in with Ross like Sean Emry or whoever just doesn't excite me to think I'll find them interesting enough to listen to regularly. Almost need an outside of the box idea for a new show and bring in someone from outside the current pool of people they have at the station. Who that is I don't know but just reshuffling the deck of people they already have to fill time slots is not interesting to me.

Seems a bit harsh being he’s a 20 year old kid who’s supposed to just be working the board.
Exactly. Maybe he talks too much, but honestly so does AD on Murph and Andy. He seems like a good kid who is pretty eager to get into sports media. I noticed right after CW left the show and Ross would bring in guests to fill the time until the last hour, he hardly talked until it was just him and Ross.

Today I gave Sean, Songer and Caleb a listen, out after 20-25 minutes of dating advise. KXNO needs to establish a sports show at this time or it's 1 less listener very soon.
I think if you want to have a sports show, the first thing needed is people who actually know about sports instead of trying to convince listeners that they do.

I think we just have to give the 3-6 slot some time here. I can say with confidence it’s only going to get better. Is it going to be sports talk all 3 hours?? I doubt it, but I think they’ll have a lot of decent content/sports content. I’m looking forward to it.

AD is as much a part of the show as Murphy and Andy. And Murph and Andy have said as much. That's different than Caleb, who has been with the show less than six months and, has been noted a lot previously, is 20 years old. He should be listening and observing more and making sure the show sounds good. But he talks way too much. He does not come across as likeable, and sometimes he talks over the hosts, which I think is a big no-no for a newbie.

Caleb is fine he is 20. He will get better.
The sooner people figure out that Sean's stupidity is a bit of an act they will actually start to notice that he's a pretty ok listen. If you ever listened to his Saturday morning show he kept a lot of that silliness out of it. Yes, we are one week away from football but this is still tough radio time for a college market. Sean and Emery will be fine.

Deace was a tool talking about sports. He was practically giddy about ISU's impending doom during the 2010 Big 12 Missile Crisis. Miller was too, but he's admitted that he was a douche back then and walked it back completely - hell, I'd go as far as to say I actually like Miller these days. Deace just keeps digging into his ****-ass persona.

If I could get a Williams and Miller pod every week to supplement the other CF pod content then radio would pretty much not even be needed.

I saw that Williams is doing a podcast with Hassel every week during FB season. That'll be nice.

I listened yesterday and agree Caleb needs to speak less. I like Songer but he too needs to speak less. Sean is solid, but when he was trying to speak Songer kept interrupting him (I got the impression Songer was trying to show how smart he is and that annoyed me). Caleb can speak when spoken to because too many people speaking at the same time, which happened a lot, just become white noise.

I like Emrey but yes, I agree that he likes to be the center of the conversation and the one always talking. I've been on Zoom calls with him in the past and it's near impossible to get a word in.

Sean and Emery both want to be the 1 chair. That's going to be something they have to work out if they do shows together in the future.

Chris Hassel? No thanks. KXNO might as well change their call sign to KHOK. Chris has been drinking too much Cody Road.

To clarify, CW is doing this under his 712 Media banner. It's not a KXNO product.
Appreciate this info. I'll probably give it a listen. But will probably have a short leash on it depending on Hassel.
