I don't mind 5-0, but that segment ran its course a while ago. the discussion is the same almost every week and doesn't really bring anything new.

That would be a solid morning show pairing, that afternoon is very meh
Solid morning if you're into an extended hok sound off with the occasional back-handed ISU nugget here & there - no thanks.
Tuned in at this time and heard nothing. Missed the start so maybe they led off the show instead of waiting for 10:10?
They said they don't have any info other than what Travis was teasing on the morning show.
Miller just said they were expecting to have the new afternoon crew on this morning, but then were told they have to wait until Monday.
Heather and Sean would be much better than Emery and Sean IMO.
I kind of figured as much because why have Travis say wait till Monday when it was supposedly to be revealed on Miller and Condon today.
It seems kind of odd that they are keeping it such a secret. I don't know if it is trying to build anticipation or what, but it would be nice to know a bit ahead of time what the lineup will be.
Typical BS. They knew they werent going to get the new afternoon guys on that program. Its technically not even an Iheart product as they pay for their own air time. Just more Miller blow hard crap.
The morning rush where its just Sean and Heather are kind of rough, I think Sean and Emery actually have some decent chemistry. Honestly Heather Travis and Ross in the morning would be my hope for where heather fits in to this; her and Travis mesh well together and she'd provide some cyclone balance to Ross and Travis (though I don't find them as obnoxious hawk fans, they're fairly objective for local talk radio who grew up hawk fans).
I haven't really kept up with this thread but thought I would offer up a few thoughts.
1) The mean-spirited feelings towards talk radio hosts always surprises and disappoints me, although I kind of understand it. We give opinions constantly and you are bound to rub people the wrong way. It makes sense but I hate it as the KXnO folks are all really good people.
2) The fact that KXnO still has this much local content in a market our size is a blessing for all of us - even if you don't care for the product. It just doesn't happen many other places, which is a testament to many of the folks in that building. Contrary to what many message board posters think, they are not all idiots.
3) I am excited to see what Sean can do in a host role. I think it's been difficult for him to escape the "little brother" role in the mornings. He has played it damn well for years. Let's see what he can do with his own three hour block per day before being too judgmental.

If it is Heather joining Sean in the afternoon spot, I'm worried that he won't be able to get out of the character that they assigned him on the morning show.
This duo is a complete disaster.....no way I can listen to those two. I hope this assumption is incorrect
Heather and Sean will be pretty rough. I do think breaking up that morning group is necessary. You could sense they maybe didn’t like each other. The short bit I heard today consisted of Heather and Travis arguing for a solid minute about which day the game tickets they were giving away were for.
Chris.....its not personal. I've tried to.give Sean a chance on Saturday mornings.
If you being objective......he just doesn't have it.....he seems like a good dude. But this market size deserves more
