Better half loves Marvel. Asked if I wanted to watch and said I’d pass. I was downstairs and just heard him yell ‘what the **** was that? That was so bad!’ Came up and asked what was wrong with it and he said he has no idea who the target audience is, the fight scene at the courtroom was hilariously awful but also said some humor worked.

Yeah the courtroom scene was a bit weird. Rest of the show was enjoyable. Not enough to go on yet

Turns out the courtroom fight scene was so weirdly bad because they moved this episode up from #8, and the CGI/VFX artists didn’t have time to finish a bunch of stuff, so they just had to cut it out. Including the initial run through forest, and the fight outside the bar.

Apparently if you slow it down, you can see Hulk tackling her before she can hurt those jerks.

Ok, I think we can all get aboard the Madame Web train of the world wondering "for why?????". Shoot, I've probably been the conductor of that train, especially with my criticism of most things Sony does as it relates to their Spider-Man universe. With that said, a few weeks back, rumors hit the internet on who all these characters are in the upcoming Madame Web movie, with some pretty notable ones in there:

Feel free to check them out or not if you don't want any of that type of info. Anyway, I think when we read all those characters rumored to be in the movie, it likely raised only more questions than answers as to what the heck this movie is about. Well, the latest rumors to hit the marketplace, which even John Campea has been hearing himself, will likely make EVERYTHING about the plot and characters of this movie make total sense. In fact, I can explain it with one word and one number. Whether you consider this a spoiler is likely whether you consider general synopsis's spoilers. Regardless, I'll put the tag on it:

Terminator 2

Again, when I saw and heard that, it both made all these strange character choices and "for why???" questions make sense to the point where I'll be the first to admit that I'm kind of intrigued now. Suddenly a movie in which I had zero anticipation for has me slightly excited now. At a minimum, I'd call it an interesting premise which has the workings to potentially be a really fun movie. However, it all ultimately comes down to execution, which I have very little faith in the studio, and especially the writers for this project (same writers as Morbius). Anyway, would love to know anyone else's thoughts.

Anyone planning on checking this out in theaters? I'm probably not, as I'll likely end up just buying the digital copy once it comes out and watching it that way. I'd prefer for Sony to squeeze extra money out of me only once rather than twice for something like this.

It was a decent movie, but it's not worth another trip to the theater. I'm kinda done with the cash-grab re-releases.

I liked it. It's an engaging story, and a different kind of origin story.
They're doing a slow burn towards whatever they're building to. I really don't know where it's going, but it's been a neat way to get involved with a character I thought wouldn't work out.
Haven't seen the episode yet but didn't she even mention in the first episode during a 4th wall break it'll be a different type of show? "Lawyer show" or something. So there may not be much of a climactic build up/event but just a fun ride. Which is kind of refreshing for a super hero show.

Finished She-Hulk episode two and I'd still say I'm liking it alright enough I guess. It isn't that it is bad, but I would be hard pressed to say it is really good either yet. I guess I've been waiting all along for the endearing quality of this particular show to show up, whatever it is, and I still feel like I'm waiting. It is still only episode 2, so I'll remain optimistic.

Yeah I like it so far but also nothing too much has happened yet. I think the actress that plays She Hulk is good so I think that's why I'm liking it. I also always like Mark Ruffalo

Anyone see She-Hulk episode 2 yet? Thoughts?
This is a different kind of marvel show and I'm digging it. Makes me want to watch Ally McBeel. Pretty sure we are working our way to She-Hulk lawyering Hulk out of a Sakaar prison.

Tatiana Maslany is a great actress. I highly recommend the show Orphan Black, the range she has to do for that show is amazing. The show does sort of get off the rails a bit in later seasons, but Maslany is very good in that. My wife can take or leave these Marvel shows, but she is watching this one mainly because of Maslany.

While it isn't one of my top choices of John Krasinski, Steven Spielberg or Bryce Dallas-Howard to direct the film, I could still get on board with this as long as they still bring back Krasinski to play Reed.

I thought Krasinski was actively bad as Reed Richards. I hope they don't bring him back.
