The thing working in frost's favor is the big 10 west. Those next 5 games after OU aren't exactly a gauntlet.

I don’t think there’s one other job where expectations are more out of line with reality.
I saw a fan posting AFTER this loss that he wasn’t impressed by Campbell as a replacement candidate. 20 some weeks in the cfp ranking not enough for them.
They are set up to be doormat.
Nebraska’s schedule is easy this year, but Scott Frost has proven he can’t beat the purdues, Illinois’, and indianas of the conference consistently. They can easily go 5-7 with this schedule too.

Absolutely. I think though given that schedule he'll at least be given the chance to fail that schedule before being canned. Firing after OU, a game they shouldnt expect to win, would be premature. Pick up a couple quick losses after that though and its obviously over.
I just don’t see Nebraska every being “Nebraska” again. What do they have to sell…a big stadium and that they were good 30 years ago? In the 90s they were one of the programs always on TV getting exposure, had a ridiculous walk on program among other things. Now everyone is on TV, everyone has facilities and there’s much easier places to recruit to than Lincoln (which is close to zero recruiting hotbeds). I’m 30 years old, have been a huge college football fan for about 15 years. I literally only know Nebraska football as an average at best team.
I hope they sign him to a long term extension.
