Again I don't think we've been that bad other than an ability to open field tackle ( not just related to us) and inability to contain a mobile QB (again, not only repeated to us)

- We're up 18
- Young kickers have avoided mistakes
- Few penalties
- 7 for 11 on 3rd downs
- We've averaging 5 yards a carry
- They're running backs have 9 yards on 7 carries
-50% completion
- 3 points came off a bad pick and a 7 yard field
- They're at 33% 3rd down conversion

Again, other than they're QB making something out of nothing and our secondary not being as good as I'd like or having 9 sacks...

where have we sucked? will we have ups and downs? Yes. But if you look at the game in entirety, there is not one area I'd say we sucked. Given the amount of change - this game has gone really really well
Didn't say we sucked today, I said we suck in openers - which traditionally we have. We've looked decent today. Not world beaters and not bad, pretty decent for an opener.

Brock came to play this year.
Get Norton back for Baylor and we have a legit 1-2 punch.
Iowa would take Dekkers in less than a half second.

For context

- New tight ends
- Two to three new starters in the secondary
- replace Rose and Hummel at LB
- 2 new DL starters
- missing maybe our best offensive tackle
- entirely new starting kickers
- 1st start for Dekkers

etc

and we're up 25. is SEMO great. No... but I've seen worse teams. I've seen worse FBS teams.

Am I 100% happy? No. Not at all. But for week one.... this is easily the best I've seen us play

Did Cartevious get injured in the 1st half? Anything serious?
