I’m not sure what youve been watching , but your arguments are simply factually wrong. And I am comparing just freshman versions. Why did you focus solely on number of catches and ignore yards and TDs? Or big plays? I can tell you why - because Jones had many of those. Yea, even as a freshman. And Noel did not.
Noel has clearly established himself as a Big XII receiver.To date, Noel is the king of 6 catches for 25 yards. 7 for 33. Etc. He has a ton of potential and I like his chances, but to date he has not yet established himself as a good Big 12 WR. I think it’s coming, but he’s behind Jones to this point in their careers. He’s certainly not ahead of him, which is why I responded to that incorrect statement in your post.
Me thinks you are suffering from a case of recency bias, or else you are just seeing Noel’s potential instead or what he is delivering on the field.
