Yeah, she was always too afraid to stand up for Iowa State. She always wanted to play nice and be a fan of both teams, even though the Hawk hosts never do the same.

Yeah I don't think Murph dislikes ISU but do think he leans more towards Iowa. Some of that may be due to I think a kid or two of his went to Iowa to school.

Andy is a Drake fan first but do think when it is between ISU & Iowa that he does lean towards the Cyclones.

Definitely respect you for not saying someone else's business, but it appears you have knowledge of the situation. Do you have an idea of when the information will become public?

I would not anticipate any of it being public if I were you. Again, not my place to discuss it, but from what I've been told there's no cause for concern from a health perspective or anything like that (saw a few people bring that up). Maybe others will choose to discuss it at some point. I have no idea. I just know they've asked me to fill in twice in the last week and I'll keep doing that as much as they ask me (within reason, obviously).

I will say this, in almost all instances the “Iowa State” person on kxno is always very fair to Iowa and watches the Iowa games so they can discuss it intelligently. The “Iowa” person almost never watched the Iowa State games. It happened with Chris and Ross. I think it’ll be the same with Chris and Hassel.

Yeah I could see that. The problem with the Hawk hosts on KXNO is they are exactly the same as any hawk fan in general- the breadth of their sports knowledge doesn’t span outside of Johnson county. It used to piss me off when Ross would have Stanz, Blum, Tommy Birch, etc on to “talk Cyclones with us” but then would spend over half of that time talking about NBA, MLB, NFL, current topics in sports and so on. Of course that never happened with the hawk guests.

They actually let that tool host Hilton Madness and he couldn’t properly identify any of the players
