I agree. But those two groups are most definitely not a 50/50 splitI’m sure we all have hawk fans that you can watch with, and ones you can’t watch with. This is where I sit.
I watched it at the local tavern 2 years ago and I walked out thinking the same thing.About 5 years ago, I watched the game with in laws and their friends in their neighborhood. 26 people were there, my wife and I were the only Cyclone fans. The game was a loss but I felt like I was winning at life at least.

Worst part is I move down here (New Mexico), take an engineering job at the national lab, and one of my coworkers is an Iowa grad.

Oh he’s fine, it’s just the principle of the thingIowa grads tend to be a little more reasonable.
Done it every year I’m not at the game for a very long time. But my friends aren’t dickheads so it’s not a problem.
