I’m going with Reeder narrowly over Hutchinson and Brock being third. Defense clamped down when they needed to, but Reeder was a stud from the first snap.

X. But the LBs improved immensely from last week & really impressed by their blitzing. Reeder made a lot of plays all over, Vance was a force in the middle & Vaughn with strip sack & other plays. Our DL played very well & is deep. MJ Anderson seems poised to play off the double teams McDonald is seeing on the other side. Iowa did not threaten downfield, but our DBs coverage was good & their tackling was pretty solid, which was an improvement from last week.

Had some 'teachable' moments but his poise and throws late are something to be very excited about.

Me - The rally shirt I put on changed the game. Takeway Brock, that boy will be sore tomorrow. X made unbelievable plays all day. Mr. Deckers did somthing several QB before has not done. BEAT IOWA. MR. Deckers gets the game ball

TJ Tampa had a sneaky good game. Forced the fumble at the goal line.

Low-key TJ Tampa was everywhere making plays. Tipped the ball on the Reeder pick, in on the goal line fumble, tight coverage, good open field tackling. Hard to have a better game

Will McDonald had a really solid game IMO with zero stats to show for it... seemed to be everywhere, and a great decoy over the nose on blitz.

Lots of studs today. OL was huge today. #8 is the best player on the field. Brock, Dekkers, Tampa, Vance, Reeder, Bitters, … all with great moments.

Lots of talent, but lots of room for improvement.

McDonald had a sneaky good play on the 3rd down draw that Iowa ran. He identified it right away and kept that from breaking for a first down. He was fantastic today even if he didn't have a sack.
