Any chance Iowa State might have a special uniform this year? I wouldn’t mind if the chrome helmets returned maybe as an away helmet(I know chances are probably 0%). I would love to see throwbacks.
Our game vs K State this year marks 99 years since Jack Trice died. I don’t know if we’ll have any special uniforms this year but I feel like that’d be as good of a time as any to do it

I want to see W/C/C again really bad. We've only used that combo twice and each time we put up a lot of points.
Houston wore their version vs UTSA a few weeks ago.

They have white as the main accent, and it looks sharp. Wish we had more white in our cardinal set.

I have been waiting 84 years for us to wear those GOD DAMN chrome helmets again.

My favorite helmet by far, because it doesn't look burgundy/maroon/purple-y like our usual red ones.

That's cool but when did tshirts become so expensive? $34 for a tshirt?
It's usually worth it. I can't get my parents to spend more than $15 on a shirt, and they wonder why they always end up with a shirt that doesn't fit after 1 wash.

Homefield was kinda the first to jump on this vintage shirt craze, but they haven't had a lot of updates for ISU. I know Iowa State is a ***** to deal with when it comes to licensing. A lot of really cool non-ISU stuff on that site.

Chromes were expensive and took a special donation from the cyclone club if I remember.
That gold is a little too orange for my liking but I still think our yellow gold should be closer to this than what we have now.

Correction: Nebraska looks like us in their W/W/R
So basically what you're saying is I'm not wrong but just got destroyed on that take lol

I don't think we look like them close up, but just switching through the channels on the broadcast view, that's what I think of

did anyone else notice that the gold trim on our whites (around the numbers) looks way better? more shiny gold rather than flat yellow.

maybe I'm just delusional.
