This really depends on what you put into the experience and what you expect.Right. I attended Saturday for the first time in almost a decade. Hate to say it, but maybe I waited too long between visits, because I walked away from it all kind of wishing I was sitting in my living room rather than walking a half hour back to my car. Parking was a nightmare, we had to kick people out of our seats when we got in, people in our section weren't cheering, and the view from our seats wasn't as good as the view from my couch.
One of those Kansas wins was a conference gameI know Conference season hasn't started yet, but when was the last time KU was 3-0 to start?
Yes, definitely no auto win this year or for the time being. And their QB Jalon Daniels must be pretty good though I know nothing about him. Does he seem similar to a Jalen Hurts type player?
I hope both us and KU win this week. It would then be a national spotlight game on 10-1, against the Jayhawks.
If you park in the lot near the power plant and walk to the south entrance, that is 1.5 miles. A 30 minute walk is normal. This really depends on what you put into the experience and what you expect.
Where did you park that was a half hour walk? None of the main parking around the stadium, including public are that far. (I understand the grass lots were only open for those that purchased tickets prior) So that may have made things worse.
And no sideline tents for the bares either.I would direct it towards their team.
I felt like I aged a year during the 2nd half of the Ohio game. Every injury timeout turned into a media timeout and the crowd collectively groaned every time they announced it.I still say the commercial breaks are too many and/or too long. They need to vary how long they are, to keep the flow moving better. Having 3:30 breaks constantly slows the game down and the action. It would be better to mix some 1 minute breaks, instead of every one being 3:30, it would also slightly shorten the game length.
Yeah then watch the replay, and the breaks are just the ESPN Logo saying commercial break in progress.I felt like I aged a year during the 2nd half of the Ohio game. Every injury timeout turned into a media timeout and the crowd collectively groaned every time they announced it.
Do Penn State fans owe you an apology? I don't like Baylor because they have beaten us and been dirty at times doing it. The rest has little to do with today.I effing hate Baylor with a bleeding passion. Thier fake arse "Christian" Baptist school destroyed those women's lives during Briles's gangster tenure and none of those a-holes and thier fans will ever accept or even apologize for it. Go on thier sites and they act like it never happened if asked about it.. seriously go look. They also know we dislike them and talk about it often.
Plus the terrible game last year in Waco still stings. It shouldn't have came down to a 2pt conversion. ISU is 9-11 vs Baylor all time. Let's get one more win!!
This game needs to be a sellout. Get loud and angry!!!
But we could give them some portable heaters! And no sideline tents for the bares either.
I guess if we talked about drink or no drink in the Jack, this would be a 'drink' time.Yeah then watch the replay, and the breaks are just the ESPN Logo saying commercial break in progress.
WTF, I get that commercials pay for this, but if you have no commercials to run, what is the point of having media breaks. Especially full 3+ minute ones. Shorten them up, run some shorter ones, or just have a few less, if you only have enough commercials to fill half of them.
Adding an extra hour of commercials every game just because is ridiculous.
We have not had our last blocked punt. Baylor and KSU thrive off special teams.Yeah like the punter needing 4 steps to get a punt off…

I totally understand. Haha, when you're younger you think a long half hour walk is pointless and a waste of time.If you park in the lot near the power plant and walk to the south entrance, that is 1.5 miles. A 30 minute walk is normal.
Sad, but I would agree. No other way to describe it.Hypocrisy still exists at that university.

Hmm, maybe that is the issue. I go to the games, and watch the replay on the app a lot, plus watch other games there too. I do watch some on Hulu plus, but finding them in replay is easier sometimes on the app.Can only speak from my perspective -- I have Hulu with live TV (which includes ESPN+)
During the actual game, there were actual commercials in those slots. Then, later, when watched on replay, just the logo like you said.
I find it odd that they eliminate the commercials later? Based on comments in the in-game thread, it appears that somehow they target commercials regionally or personally? Feels more like watching a game on YouTube than on "a TV station."
I think you have made some good points here!I still wish they would try to not slow the game down so much. Several times you notice multiple 3+ minute breaks in a short time span. Like score, commercial, kickoff commercial, quarter commercial, all just moments apart. Seems they could either eliminate one or more of these breaks or they could make some of them short 1 minute or less quick breaks.
Having some of those long breaks becoming quick breaks would improve the flow of the game.
Also using rape and sexual assault as a taunt like that is insulting and demeaning to the women it happened to.Sure, but that doesn’t explain why anyone should direct a “No means no” chant at players who weren’t even remotely or tangentially involved or responsible.
For the record, my above post was cynical. I was making light of people who use these excuses.Right. I attended Saturday for the first time in almost a decade.
