Are you watching the games at a food shelf? I have yet to find free food and drinks. Just sayin'.
Just mooching off of friends who host, obviously.

Come on, man. You know what I meant.: a ton cheaper (and better) than concessions.

I hear ya. It's nice having friends to host gatherings.

I much prefer going to the game and hosting a tailgate. But I had to give up the season tickets this year with too many weddings and other trivial happenings clogging up my Saturdays. Should be back to regularly attending next season.

This is an ongoing trend across virtually all sports nationwide. Going to a game is time consuming, expensive, and often stressful. It's hard to compete with the comfort of free food & drinks, a private bathroom, A/C, and a giant TV.
im finding it more and more overwhelming to attend games

It's going to be increasingly harder to fill stadiums because of the above reasons, ever-increasing costs, asks to donate to NIL, realignment impacts to rivalries, etc. A very hard reality when we're better than we've ever been on the field.
Iowa State has bucked this trend for a long time.

I think that what we’re seeing this year is fallout from a whole bunch of people buying tickets for the first time last year…then having the season not live up to what they’d hoped for.

It’s kind of an issue of trust and expectation. No one knew what to expect from the quarterback and running back position, so some portion of those “new ticket holders” decided that the risk/reward factor was too high.

I suspect that if Hunter continues to improve (and assuming he returns next season), we’ll see another upward surge in season ticket sales.

**** Baylor, if you're going to the game, get rowdy, be loud, and have fun watching the Cyclones kick some Bear ass.

I was there at the 122F vs 95F sideline temp game where Baylor took away our tents because of "improper paperwork". It was hot as ****. On top of all the other **** this program is responsible for over the years. Baylor can go **** themselves.

Lots of money coming in on ISU. ISU has a pretty good track record under Campbell in these types of situations.

Heard on the radio today Campbell is 16 of 17 in the last 17 B12 games at Jack Trice Stadium. I wouldn't have guessed that those Sept stumbles stay in mind more than they should.

I very seldom buy food in the stadium by the time you tailgate, just go to the game watch and head home. I mean even as long as the Ohio game was I still didn't starve. Granted it's a different situation if you bring kids.

Question, has anyone tried using screen shots of tickets to get in this year? I am giving my tickets to my uncle who is in his 70s and he doesnt know how to accept the transfer of tickets so i was hoping i could just take screen shots and send those to him.
