They ARE garbage. Our offense was just worse. We are easily and by a large margin the worst offense in the big 12
You dont need to go that far or to a different coach. This has been the CMC loses the last 5 years. The defense used to give you multiple chances.....
Defense did its job. Offense was offensive. Line sucked period. QB continues to make mistakes. 11 points against one of the WORST defenses in the country. Wow.
Analytics…isn’t that the excuse CPR used when asked why they handed off to Mike Warren and he infamously fumbled at Kansas State. That worked out well for everyone…oh wait
This team going to be lucky to win another game or 2 like this.
They never should have put him that position on the last 2 kicks. Such a ridiculous and weird game to watch.

Ummm their defense (while getting better for sure isn't THAT good, as in 11 points good). They have given up 42, 30 and 27 to teams not named Tennessee Tech. We scored 1 more point than ******* Tennessee Tech and that wasn't even on purpose. This isn't about KU's defense. This is about this offense, specifically the line and play calling.
We aren’t going to have to worry about losing Campbell to a big time program.
And like playing for the tie would play out better in OT and to any possible advantage?
That game was worse, we had a full set of downs to try to win that game and we essentially conceded them all playing for the FG. But this call was similar in nature for sure. Loserball.

KU '05 was similar in some weird way iirc. Just kind of a **** show of a game and ISU wilted when it mattered.
Just when I think ISU is past that weirdness...
Not many Hall of Fame coaches would choose to kick a FG for the tie in that situation. There were 60 seconds left on the clock when we lined up with 4th and a foot. And despite what many are saying, our OL wasn't playing that bad.
