As an aside, I talked to a couple of Jaylins family at the SEMO game. They were sitting somewhat by me. Super nice folks.

Also, did anyone see what I presume to be McDonald’s mom (she had what looked like a game worn jersey of his on) running up and down the front row at the SEMO game? That was pretty awesome.
I've told this story before, but last year as we were exiting a game to the north from the west side of the stadium, we were crossing over where the players exit the field. It was Noel's breakout game. There was a woman standing down below, just waiting, and as we walked by Jaylin came out from under us and literally launched himself into her arms. We had to stop & watch for a minute. Sweet moment...lots of love & pride displayed.

Dead serious...Big 12 needs to hire somebody like Cyclone Larry to combat national media bias in things like this.
I don't see why people get bent out of shape about these stats. One, they are factual. Two, Fallica is looking at these from a betting perspective. He's not trying to tear down Campbell or Iowa State.

I love stats. Cyclone Larry provided some additional context that paints a more accurate picture.

Fox Sports recently distributed an in house graphic across all its social media channels that showed the Big 12 is last in touchdowns in 2022. It's a stat, an INCREDIBLY misleading stats.

The reality is that PER TEAM the Big 12 is #1 in touchdowns this year by a significant margin in spite of its teams actually playing less games per school than the other four because three of our teams are the only FBS schools that still only have four games played. One of those teams is OK State who scores a ton of TDs per games. If you actually want TDs, the Big 12 is by far the best yet here's the second biggest sports network spreading lies the Big 12 is last in TDs.

We need stronger leadership and markeing that doesn't just get rolled over. We need to call out actual statistical truth, especially when the Big 12 is strongest at something and being painted as the worst.

Lol that is an incredibly dumb stat. I'm on Twitter a lot, so I'm guessing I don't follow that account.

Other than Connelly at ESPN, nobody is really highlighting the strength of the Big 12 this season. We are a clear #2 behind the SEC, and with no divisions, an argument could easily be made that the Big 12 is the toughest conference to play in.

The bias is so obvious and frustrating. We desperately need a Big 12 rep on every network. We have none.

On the flip side you can see how the ridiculous total domination in basketball gets some of them to just barely begrudgingly admit the Big 12 might be ok beyond just Kansas.

If the Big Ten ever had a run as dominant as the past five years of Big 12 hoops you'd never hear the end of it. Instead pretty much every season almost all their teams play below seed and it's just swept under the rug.

Big 12 basketball has been at least as dominant as SEC football yet doesn't get the constant media love fest.

So...

Big 12 - 19.1
PAC - 16.75
SEC - 16.125
Big 10 - 15.635
ACC - 13.875
Iowa - 9

The spin would be the Big 12 doesn't play defense even though there's only been a handful of conference games.

I am legitimately shocked Iowa has 9 TDs. Even with those scored by the defense.

Yeah, and it's even more dominant than that because the Big 12 has the only 3 teams that have only played just 4 games. One of them in OK State is a TD leader nationally. Probaly more like 20 for Big 12 if everyone had equal number of games.

First place listed out as last by major network.

Wisconsin has given up 11 TDs in two conference games.
