Missed fg
Dropped potential touchdown
Dropped int
Interception inside there 10
Iowa states beats themselves agian
ISU drops more interceptions than any team I’ve ever seen in my life. I wish they’d spend some more time on that in practice. That’s a perfect example of a margin they are ignoring.

I'm really hoping that the biggest thing that was learned today is that Dekkers learns to step up when the pocket collapses, and if there's open field just take off and run..... like he did on that TD run.

I hate it when QB's feel the pressure and immediately go backwards to escape it instead of stepping up.

First off though... Dekkers has to be able to feel that pressure, and the pocket collapsing on him..... and then know to step up instead of stepping back.

Why? X is mastering drops at key times.
He had that good one on 4th down today, but those drops people are mentioning are legit mistakes he shouldn't be making.

Yeah, I don’t get the “he’s unassailable” pov from the fans. He carries the offense at times and has made a lot of crucial mistakes when they’ve needed him the most. Doing the former doesn’t mean anything if you can’t finish it.

I mean this thread is amusing. I like a good **** on the refs post game meltdown. It's good for us to have a common enemy. It's a healthy thing for the fan base.

But the fact that several people on here are legit blaming Hutchinson is crazy to me. Just ******* crazy.
You have the funniest meltdowns. You meltdown about fans 10x harder than anyone else melting down about a loss.

I’m blaming Matt but in the NIL era have ZERO issues with folks that want to call out players.

You post a lot of dumb on gamedays, but this might be up there near the top.

Almost no one on this team is here for NIL. Anyone who's getting NIL funding could likely get more somewhere else and is choosing iowa state

Think about this: ISU 4 losses are be a combined total 14 points. 2 of those losses caused by incompetence by the Zebras. ISU is really not a bad team. They are not perfect, but they are not anything like Walden's teams. ISU has come a long way and I support our players and coaches.

A lot of things can be said here. Yes, the drop by X was huge but without him, we’re not anywhere near the team we are. Yes, maybe it wasn’t targeting, but we’ve all seen much less called. I personally believe it’s one that has to be called.

We showed improvement today which gives me confidence going forward. I know the record isn’t want we want but this is absolutely a solid football team and fully capable of going 3-2 down the stretch and making a bowl game. Will it happen? Who knows, but definitely doable.

Not only that... but it seems like we're always the worst team in the country at our D-backs not turning around and playing the ball. It's pathetic.

It was only his most important opportunity.
He's an excellent receiver with a noticeable flaw in his game.

Making the Campbell quote last week hit a little more true that I would have thought and did at the time think.

Its weird. This feels like a new thing for him- I don’t remember him dropping so many big catches ever before. I wonder if it’s just a mental thing?

Too much pressure to increase his draft stock and carry the team?

New gloves this year?

Just isn’t like him :(

This is frustrating watching Golesh call these plays against Alabama right now. Why didn't we fire Manning and put Golesh as our OC? My gawd.... Tennessee's offense is unreal. So wide open.

Well, a couple things:
1. We made so many crucial mistakes that the refs failure at the end shouldn't have mattered.
2. After a while, you are what your record says you are.

At some point your record is what it is. We've beaten 3 bad teams. We've lost close to a very good team (Texas), but also lost to a few mediocre teams in KU\Baylor\KSU. Generally a team in that position would be described as "bad"

They are not perfect, but they are not anything like Walden's teams. ISU has come a long way and I support our players and coaches.

This should not, and cannot, be the bar.

He made numerous really important catches today. No player catches everything.
