It’s bad when Walter’s calls a play like it going the distance but it’s an 8yd pass over the middle.
Defense is great, offense sucks.
Now Campbell is calling this a “rebuild”- for the 3rd time. Four losses in a row and this game was just dysfunctional on offense. There is cause for concern. OL still awful, no running game, Dekkers keeps throwing int’s special teams another big error.

I usually wouldn’t be to upset and just call this a rebuilding year, but with our lack of NIL money, I’m thinking every year will be a “rebuilding” year.

Rebuilds can show some sort of improvement throughout the year or at least some sort of identity.

Tom Manning needs to send about half his paycheck to the Ferentz clan for drawing all the attention away from him this year.

If Iowa wasn't the literal laughing stock of college football this season, the media would be eating Manning alive.

Can't wait until we put in either Becht or Cook.... and they look a lot worse than Dekkers.

Then who will people blame it on?

And no.... Kohl is not going to be the savior folks. He doesn't look as good in high school as Dekkers did... not even close. This coaching staff is ruining all these guys. They will ruin Kohl too.

So many dropped balls and such a lack of team speed in skill positions. How did the rest of Big 12 seem to find speed guys and we didn’t ?

I called it early…. I think I accumulated about 100 dumbs from that prediction….

It’s alright. I called Dekkers useless and got a lot of dumbs. When I called for Manning to go every week and most of last year I got a bunch of dumbs as well. Some people are okay with being a bad team and blast anyone for dropping a truth bomb.

Been a problem with linebackers adjusting to pick Dekkers, need to fix that.

We still have top tanked TCU and OK State left to play. And seeing how Tech and WVU is playing, we aren't winning any games at all this year - and I doubt they'll even be close.

I hate to say it, but Campbell was completely out coached today.

We've not been good coming out of the bye week in his tenure.

OU had a solid game plan. Ours was a real head scratcher vs a really bad defense. And again, 2 weeks to prepare.

Beat OU in '17 albeit with a 'surprise' with the introduction to the cloud/3 man.

The thing is, I don’t know if it’s on him or if it’s on the plethora of issues on this team. Manning (QB killer), horrendous o-line, lack of receiver, etc.

I had really high hopes for him and It’s just been bad

To be fair, Dekkers played in class A. Kohl plays 5A.

If anyone believes that Becht, Cook, or Kohl will be the saviors for this team.... you are sadly mistaken.

Purdy made an NFL squad and couldn't do anything here with the best ISU team ever surrounding him.... that's on coaching. Dekkers is more talented, but has nothing around him and the same terrible coaching and playcalling. If Becht or Cook came in.... it would be really ugly. And Kohl is basically a statue compared to Purdy or Dekkers.... he'd be a sitting duck.

Those that think Dekkers is the issue.... who is better we can go to right now?

I really believe our offense tips off their plays to opposing defenses. Every run play the opposing defense sells out and stuffs it.

I’m so tired of the X Hutch to NFL talk. He just fell down on his own accord on 4th and goal. Decent throw by Dekkers.

If X is in NFL more than one season I’d be shocked. Practice squad maybe.
