This could mean that Tier 3 is NOT included in the estimates meaning that Amazon/Apple could still be in play for Tier 3 which would increase the annual revenue even more.

Not sure I understand this thread. The article they link to says Tier 3 will be owned by ESPN.

T3 rights dont exist. We need to scrub that lingo according to the article. That is what those eltists from OU and Texes invented to screw everyone.

They have since updated the article. There will be no more Tier 3 so my speculation is not true. I will just update the post so there is no confusion.

The 'market' is about to crash, I cant believe how smart B12 was to get out for the real market crash happens.
There is zero indication to believe the market is or will crash. While I don’t believe the pac is in a good position sports are one of the very few media outlets that people still watch live to generate ad revenue.

So it looks like ISU will be making half of what a Big10 team is making. Big10 is just rolling in money and truely believe the separation will only get greater.

What more can you invest in a college football team? Seriously, strength and conditioning, nutrition, facilities are already maxed out at pretty much all power 5 schools that give a **** about football (ISU included). Places like Alabama and LSU are redoing their locker rooms every 2-3 years because they literally have no better use for the money. The Big 12 INCREASING the payout despite OUT leaving is huge for the Big 12 to still be in the same ball park for competitiveness. There will be a divide but I don't think it will be as large as people think, especially with the expanded playoffs and the metrics for how teams get in.

Not going to lie, I was a little nervous having no football "blue bloods" was going to potentially destroy the league. Fortunately for the Big 12 that wasn't the case. The new Big 12 deal could have been greater with UT and OU were still in the league but now the cancer (Texas) is out of the Big 12. Only time will tell if Texas destroys (SWC)/nearly destroys (Big 12) another league.
Well, they did destroy the BigXII. I give them credit for 6 members leaving.

Coaching salaries is where a lot of the money will go. The P2 will be able to buy any coach they want and I'm not just talking about HCs but all coaches in all sports.

Until paying players with TV money. Which is coming. Still a good deal for ISU and Big XII.

As long as the non-P2 schools can prevent direct payments to players, this won't be that big of a deal. Texas has made that much more than the Big12 for a while now and look where that got them.

But, I'm assuming the direct payments are on their way. Will be interesting to see how the other conferences react. Short of refusing to play those conferences, I don't know they'll have much power.

They will not destroy the SEC, but they will try!

Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU and Tennessee will slap them back into reality.

SEC schools all realize that each and every school brings something different to the table. Some bring football. Some bring men's basketball. Some bring women's basketball. Some bring baseball. Some bring Olympic Sports. Some bring academics. They all bring passion.

Not one single school in the SEC complains about Vanderbilt getting the same share as Alabama.

Yeah you are right, Disney stock hovering near its pandemic low and the stock market projecting 6 months out is not an indicator, oops.

I’m getting whiplash from Stew. Now we should have worked together with the PAC all along?

Isn't he the guy that uses the phrase "Big 12 leftovers" ? Why would they want to collaborate with a bunch of leftovers?
