Everyone in the stadium knew we werent going for it there.

Except our coaches. I do not believe for 1 second that the entire offense looking like they had NO IDEA what was going on was an ‘act’. Every good offensive team has several plays ready for this EXACT scenario; 4th and short (will several variations depending on field position, time of game, etc). Iowa State coach’s nervously make up a decision in the moment. Well no actually not in the moment, they have to burn a TO first (for literally no reason). Then punt. Haha, cannot make this sh*t up.

It really is funny (sad funny) how often Dekkers looks to the sideline confused as hell, waiting for a play call. Any play, any time of game, you can bet your a$$ that our offensive coaching staff is not quite sure what to do next.
