Any day with a game in Hilton is a good one. I am trying to temper my expectations after TJ effort last year and remember this is almost a hole new team.
Very excited to see Osun/Holmes and the freshman play in their first real experience of Hilton Magic.

Blum tweeted that he was taking a break for some reason (maybe personal matters?). Definitely hope everything is well with him, and that he gets back soon. He's fantastic.

Just going in with the mindset that I had last year, which is excited to get to know the new players and how all their roles shake out. I see a lot of potential here, but also a lot of new faces trying to blend together.

The defense could actually be better and outside of Brockington could the offense really struggle much more? Having bigs who can finish has to offset at least some of his scoring.

I'm definitely hoping to see a lot of offensive rebounds with put backs and some fast break points. I think those two things will be the key to generating some offense.

The defense will be good, even elite in the interior most likely, but replacing Brockington and Hunter with Holmes and Lipsey is probably a half step back at a minimum.

I love college bball. Excited to get the year going. Hoping a bigger post presence will increase offensive efficiency and improve rebounding a lot. If Holmes can make up for a chunk of Brockingtons scoring and Gabe can just be more consistent and efficient that should make us pretty good. NCAA tourney will be hard to make with how good the conference is but lots of opportunity to get good wins too.

You have to hope that adding Osun, Ward and King with the supposedly improved Jones will give us a big upgrade over last year's front court

That’s what I’m most interested. Our point of attack defense isn’t going to work anymore. Will be interesting to see if they switch to a pack line defense, a more trapping style, or something else. TH could switch even at his size because he was so tenacious, won’t have that luxury anymore. No offense to Lipsey there, just different players. Teams are just going to more effectively do the high ball handoff/p & r more easily against us this year.

I was stuck on "Interior Upper Peninsula" for the majority of Sunday. Indiana University - Purdue University, Indianapolis. That blows my mind-- it makes so much more sense than Interior Upper Peninsula.
