Honestly tired of hearing this stupid sentence at this point. Fun fact, we didn't make any of those plays did we? So who cares?

And more importantly, people say this as if we put up a ton of points and fell short. We shouldn't have had to make a single play or kick against KU, we scored 11 flipping points against a team who parts the red sea for EVERY OTHER TEAM. We shouldn't have had to make that one play against an Oklahoma State team who is clearly in an absolute tailspin and giving up so many points you can't even count them all. We shouldn't have had to make a catch against a KSU team who we held to 10 points...10! And we had the ball TWICE in the last several minutes starting on the 50 or better only to come up with ZERO points.

Come on man. I get what you are saying, and I am with you that CMC deserves a long leash. But this offense and special teams is not just bad. It's unwatchable. You can watch teams all over the place on Saturday that make offense look easy and they have way less talent than us. Or teams that can make a 35 yard or less FG without even trying, let alone kicking it so poorly that you would think the person kicking it was drunk.

Some of you sound like you have only been watching Iowa State football for about 3 years. It is obvious either you are bandwagon fans or you are about 16 years old. As some of us have been around for a lot longer through a lot worse for a lot longer. You really need to chill. This year looks good compared to a lot of years. And this is just one year after 5 good years. Just relax. I remember not long ago, people said CMC could have a lot of really bad years and everyone would still love him. That as long as he keeps in bowls most years with only a few bad years here and there it was fine. This is 1 year, I agree we have things to fix, but calling for him to be fired, is just idiotic! I mean really damn idiotic.
