We knew St John's would eventually start hitting some shots. Just can't give them easy ones in transition because they know how to finish those.

Definitely would have taken this Halftime score coming in. Now, it should be 15+ with how it was looking at the 10 minute mark, but let's step on their throats early in the 2nd Half. First 5 minutes are huge to assert ourselves.

Solid first half. No idea why we got our half of either double technical. I feel like we lost momentum a bit when Grill was off the floor.

Just need to keep working that defense and move the ball better and more securely on offense.

St John’s can’t control emotions and the officiating crew are cowards.

Pretty sure TJ told the whole team to walk away, during the last time out because of a technical.

Good first half the Cyclones. Their defensive pressure is dictating the tempo and flow of the game. Would have liked to keep the 17 point lead, but StJ's isn't going to shoot only 19% for the whole game. Gabe with four fouls could be problematic in the 2nd half, though.

If we win the first 5 minutes of the second half, we win the game. If we don't win the first 5 minutes, it can get away from us.

TJ has done a great job of having us come out of the locker room focused, so I have no doubt we'll give great effort.

Box score is showing him with 4, so if that’s right, I’d expect him to sit for quite a while to start the second half. Problem is that Lipsey and Grill also have two fouls each.

I would be shocked if the entire game isn’t called really close the rest of the way. The refs don’t want things to get out of control.
