I get around
LOL. Thought I would buy my son a Purdy jersey tonight as a Christmas gift. Looks like thousands of others beat me. Nothing left in his size.

Lol, everything below 3XL sold out. Mr. Relevant has arrived! Someone, somewhere is working 24 hours a day making a bunch more Purdy jerseys!

Probably someone trying to figure out who the hell is this Purdy guy and why are his jerseys selling so well first.

Im seeing lots of chatter on Twitter, mostly nonsense probably, about Baker being released by Carolina with a thought of him going to the niners…

I sure hope not.

Baker is a cancer in the locker room vs. Brock who they're rallying behind. This is Disney movie feels vs. Dumpster Fire and the Niners know that.

Yeah, Purdy is great for character and teammate...but even just on play alone I look at Mayfield's QBR over the years and he's not exactly a steady hand to bring in.

All the local media loved talking to Purdy and would say it was like interviewing a coach even when he was a freshman.

I'm no NFL guru but isn't he just as big of a question mark as Purdy? Perhaps even with less upside because you don't yet know what Purdy can do?
Not knowing what he can do is not the same as upside. Baker isn't a great QB, but he's got a ton more starting experience than Brock. He's been to the playoffs. Those things do count for something.

That said, Purdy knows the offense better, and clearly has the locker room on his side.

It boils down to this. If they keep winning and he keeps looking decent, he'll be fine, but make no mistake, this is a team in win now mode. They are playing for this year. If Purdy starts to falter, the reins may be pretty short.
