I think that all of us always wondered what Brock could do with a good LT and a top receiving corps.

I’m no expert on the 49ers, but last I looked that was future HOFer Trent Williams, and a bunch of high draft picks. Oh, plus Kittle. And they added McCaffrey in the backfield. Am I wrong about all that?

If so, seems like a Purdy good dream come true.

Just a note on how smart Purdy is . . .

On the TD pass right before the half, his wideout on the opposite side of the field (not the side thrown to) lined up in the backfield but was wrong. He stepped forward while the other man was in motion --

IF they'd snapped it while the motion was still going, it would have been an illegal shift.

But Brock held off, told the motion man to get set, waited a count, THEN snapped it. . . .

And threw a TD. :)
