NWS is still saying 5"-9" for the Twin Cities followed by the days of crazy wind. Should be interesting snow chucking on Thursday. Will have to try and chuck the snow WITH the wind.
Yeah, I have a north facing driveway. With the normal west/northwest wind, and a neighbor with a driveway immediately to the east, I have to blow that **** straight into the wind. Usually end up looking like Nicholson at the end of the Shining.

It's gonna be bad!!! Real bad!! Real bad is when you go to Walmart and they have fully stocked shelves of bread and a cooler full of milk, but not one single banana!!

Finally got the snowblower started this morning after working on it for an hour last night. There must have been some old gas in the carburetor that was in there from last year (I thought I ran it out last year). There was a carb drain plug that i loosened and let some of the old gas out. After I put the plug back in, it started on the first pull! Got the oil changed so I should be good to go with that.

Last year when I shoveled it sharpened the wear plate so I think I am ready to move some snow. :)

Keep your pets indoors. Seems like every year you hear about some idiot leaving their dog out in this.

I am one of those "Did I leave the coffee pot on?" people. This time of year I am always paranoid we'll forget our little Boston outside and come home to a popsicle pup. He wouldnt last very long in this weather.

Not exactly sure.

Everytime I go somewhere, I find myself turning around after a block and double checking. I don't care for our stupid mutt, but I also don't want it to freeze to death.
