So you dont like more money for the conference, hence more money for ISU?Yeah I'm serious. I prefer our conference opponents not get more exposure that will result in them getting even better players.
It's the same reason why I didn't want Baylor or TT winning the basketball championship in the last few years.
Let's stay alive and relevant as a conference first, then we can move up the pecking order.Yeah I'm serious. I prefer our conference opponents not get more exposure that will result in them getting even better players.

You probably should rethink this reasoning. You realize that the TV money that keeps the ISU AD afloat is basically based on how well the conference does. In the current college sports environment, hoping for your conference to do bad is really bizzare.Yeah I'm serious. Lol, wut??? The Pac-12 had 4 teams that were 10-2, and Oregon State destroyed Florida. There is a stigma that the Big 12 is bottom tier when we are easily ahead of the Pac 12
Come on…. Gonzo is a good poster here and not a typical hawk. And yet… here you are…..
Your wife was right.Nope. I hate the Big 10 but I don't want a team in our conference winning a Championship and get more exposure for themselves.
My wife knows how much I hate the Big 10 and is really confused why I was cheering for Michigan.
correct but for some factors they do.Player doesn’t have to be defenseless for targeting

It looked like the shoulder pad hit him. Skycam showed it better I thought. His helmet didn’t make contact.
Lol. Until he lets his colors show like above. He’s a troll like the rest of them.Come on…. Gonzo is a good poster here and not a typical hawk.

Lol. Huge bowl game win. Your offense had one 42 yard drive and your fan base is going nuts over getting the 18th ranked QB in the portal. And Brain is your OC from here on out. Good luck with that.Lol, my team gave up 0 points in their bowl game dumfuk.

I am not a Herbstriet fan, but I think he is very fair when he calls Buckeye games. He actually comes across as more knowledgeable because he knows about their ins and outs. I think your point is valid in general, but I think he is fair (and I normally do not like him).Herbstriet should never be allowed to call an OSU game.
For one thing, one way a ball carrier can be defenseless is if he is "in the grasp of an opponent and [his] forward progress has been stopped." I would say that could have applied on that play. Also, as someone else noted, if the defender leads with the crown of the helmet, the head and neck area and defenseless player parts of the rule aren't absolutely necessary. He hit his helmet on the back of the shoulder pads directly between the shoulder blades. Right in the back of the runner. Not a defenseless player. Not to the Head or Neck. Not with excessive force, maybe lunging, but again, several metrics do not activate unless it is a defenseless player. And again it was to the middle of his shoulders not his head or neck.
