A lot of Iowa State talk there by ESPN. Kohl and Purdy are doing wonders right now just by being on television for Iowa State football.

Is the Under Armour AA game different than the Army AA game? I know Breece Hall, Jake Campos, and Allen Lazard played in that one.
Yes, different games/organizers. Under Armour is typically thought of as the more prestigious game while the Army Game is #2. At one point the Army Game even shut down for a bit but I believe it is back.
Fans need to understand that this game is the Elite HS game...All these kids are 4/5 stars...

Exactly. The amount of these guys going to Georgia, Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, tOSU, etc is across the board.
I worked at this event once and it was a really cool event especially now 5 years later seeing the guys who played in the game and what they did in college.

I think kohl is deceptive because of his length.
That's how our qb who walked on at iowa from my h.s. was too. He was 6'4" and a long strider and you didn't real how fast he was until you were running 400s against him or trying to chase him down

He's not slow. He's big. Being big makes him look slow. Look no farther than Matt Jones for a prime example. The former Arkansas QB was 6-6 and he looked just as slow as Kohl ... until you realized he was running past everyone on the field. Jones ran a 4.4 40 and eventually played a few seasons in the NFL as a WR before nose candy got the best of him. I'm not saying Kohl has 4.4 speed, but guys with long legs like that always look slow, even though the opposite may be true. I would not doubt it if Kohl runs in the neighborhood of a 4.7 40, which is not slow by any means.
