What the ****? I turned the game off after the first qtr and buddy sent me this a couple hours ago. Ended up watched a movie with my kids.

So you could imagine my COMPLETE confusion reading backwards through this thread…. Jesus Christ. I missed something epic.

Four interceptions by Lawrence in the FIRST HALF. Jags had to score before half and they did to make it 27-7.

Chargers just went into playing to not lose mode and jags turned up the heat. When it got to 30-20 with like 7:00 left I thought holy **** they can actually win this.

Way up there
Jags turn around this year has been incredible. Lawrence took a lot of heat from those who were giddy watching him struggle last year.

They were saying (somewhere) that the job Peyton wants is the Chargers.

He's probably a step closer to it.

Going to be an interesting few years. A lot of the traditional bottom feeder teams have built a strong foundation and some draft capital (Jacksonville, Detroit, NYJ) where some of the teams that have been strong for a decade are looking at falling off the cliff (GB, Denver). Maybe we'll see a shift in the power dynamic of the league?

Chargers are a snake-bitten franchise
They could have conceivably won the championship the year they lost to the Bengals in the arctic.

Otherwise, they haven't ever really been that close.

They made the SBowl in 94 and are 1-3 in AFC championship games.

They just exist.

They were really good when they had LT. Lost to the Jets in the playoffs because Kaeding couldn't make a FG

They won the AFL championship in 1963.

Since the merger they just haven’t been a participant in the last two games very often.
