I was really looking forward to us playing Texas with Soares and Jordao. Expecting this to be a good old-fashioned shootout. I have lots of confidence that we can outscore them.

Harmon is such a fascinating player. I've never seen someone play such good full-court defense. Her ability to beat offensive players to their spot and establish position is amazing. And she does it over-and-over-and-over.

Strange to say…for once UT doesn’t have a size advantage. Expect this to look similar to the KSU game. Physical to say the least.

I know very little about Texas this year - except that Harmon is big time good. I assume they will be very physical. Usually this games comes down to whether we can handle their physicality. Never very optimistic when we play them. Fingers crossed

I could not find a Texas fan board with a peep about WBB. I haven't seen them and they have had injuries and been so up and down that I have no idea what to expect other than Harmon.

@geewago, where do Texas fans post these days?

Baylors down early by 9 to WVU. Was thinking the ISU/Texas game would be for a three-way tie but if Bears lose than we playing for a two-way share with the the Sooners.

I watched a few minutes of a Texas game last week and Rory Harmon wasn’t rampaging around the court making plays. I came to the conclusion that either:
A) she plays her best games vs ISU, or
B) she’s playing with nagging injuries and slowed considerably

Given our luck, she’ll be healthy and run circles around us as usual - we’ll just need to win at the other three positions (capitulating the post). Go State - Horns Down!

ISU-Texas will be joined in progress on ESPN2, since Memphis-Temple just went to the under-4 timeout (3:18 left).

Starting on ESPNews (tip at 4:07pm) before moving over to ESPN2.
