I loved the comment tonight how the Moody center is now sold out and rocking, a quick google search shows that it holds 10,500 for UT bb games. Now how many games would sell out at ISU if we only had that many tickets to sell. 98% for the season?

Another great win, just keep playing defense, scraping and scraping along, and ISU will be fine.

This is true but Baylor and Tech were also on fire. Hilton is 100% back - lit for every conference game and not just the big ones.
My theory is that last year Hilton wasn't really back all the way because

1. We'd occasionally hardcore **** the bed
2. The crowd felt like it was too good to be true.

I really think the North Carolina win was what totally brought it all back

This is his first real Hilton experience. Hilton don’t count until the students come back from second semester. I mean it’s still 1000 times better than Carver Hawkeye but it gets lit second semester
Listen to Two Guys Named Chris on Iowa Everywhere. Their podcast from yesterday. CW is explaining Hilton to Chris Hassel and you can tell Hassel just doesn't get it. "What? The crowd will be rowdy with an 7:00pm tip and it would be even more juiced if it was 8:00?" He is used to CHA crowds which nod off by 8:30 during a game.

Good news is 4 of them don’t have enough teeth to complain about it and the other 3 don’t have internet in their backwoods dumps.

Oh come on, I'm sure Beard paid to have their teeth fixed after the settlement.

Yeah, people had hope but not a reason to truly believe and buy-in yet. Last year’s results made that happen but there some hesitation about this year given who we lost and the unknowns of what we gained. We will absolutely still have rough outings yet this year, it’s a byproduct of how the team is currently built. But Magic is back and will be for good with how much talent is now in the pipeline.

Baylor starting to gain some confidence. They are a team I could see getting hot on the back half of the schedule.
While they don't have the horses inside they used to, Baylor has a lot of backcourt talent and it is starting to gel. The Cyclones' win over them should age very well.

What a game and I got to see it in person (ears are still ringing) because of @Cycsk . He hosted a pre-game tailgate before the game and afterward I was just going to go home to watch online.

We walked up and he found a scalper with a very reasonable offer and bought it for me. I love the community we have here at cf. This was an experience I'll never forget.
