Tj really outcoached Texas tonight, I really have no idea what the Texas game plan was, but that Texas staff is struggling.

I thought we played ok, but it wasn’t a great performance. Texas I thought rolled over once they went down 9, kind of a pathetic effort by them really.

Holy cow Carr is a ball heavy guard. Hard guy to play with I would think.

Might be a rough trip through the big 12 for Texas, they got a lot of issues.

CW said in his postgame podcast that Hilton was as loud and electric since the 'Haluska game' in 2004. I find that hard to believe. I asked my friends and family via text if they agreed with that. They said it was incredible tonight but nothing like our comeback wins against Iowa when Monte hit the late jumper and the huge comeback against Oklahoma.

I don't know that it was louder. It was angrier and that's where the Huluska comparison comes in I think. Now that I'm old it's hard to rank crowds fairly because I always think the old crowds were the best. But this was definitely an all timer. Once we got going, it was pretty steady the whole time. How cool is it that we can have these comparisons? I have so many great memories in Hilton and tonight was another great one.

I thought the Hunter stuff wasn't all that bad. It could have been worse. And I was shocked that we did the all white thing as well as we did. Apparently an old dog (i.e. a Hilton crowd) CAN learn a new trick.

TJ may play the whole calm and steady thing up with the media. But you can't tell me that there isn't some serious '**** you' attitude with this team. They took the loss in the Big 12 tournament to Tech personal and it played out last week. And same thing tonight. That's the one difference I see this year vs. last year----it's like they are out on a revenge tour. There were a lot of horns down towards the end of the game. They've got a mean streak that is serving them well so far.

What's the deal between Carr and Gabe. CW brought it up a few times and I just don't know that story.

Not sure...on the broadcast they were talking about how they are both still close friends (played at Minnesota together) but they don't text or talk during ISU vs Texas weeks. But maybe they told the announcers that to be nice and they really hate each other.

What a game and I got to see it in person (ears are still ringing) because of @Cycsk . He hosted a pre-game tailgate before the game and afterward I was just going to go home to watch online.

We walked up and he found a scalper with a very reasonable offer and bought it for me. I love the community we have here at cf. This was an experience I'll never forget.

The Cyclones were sure to win with Rulzzz, the legend, in the house!

This team is special. It would have been very easy to fall into the hype and lay an egg but I think we played our most complete game to date. Great defense as always, 3point shooting, created turnovers, great team free throw shooting (23-39!). Love how we wear teams down and lately have been dominating the offensive boards in the last 10 minutes of games, Great to see. Roll clones!

Rulzzz pre game predictions award going with a tie.

Noah was only one to do a score and it was in the ball park and Cyclones8824 was correct with the loudness prediction. You knew it would loud with Hunter back but I think people couldn't have dreamed it would of been as loud as it got in there tonight.
Is it more likely that Campbell hires a special teams coach or a coach with a stripper girlfriend who owns a monkey?

Gotta go back one quote level to see the Texas coach, stripper, monkey story

Great game!
Really good crowd, best of the yr but yeah not as good as the Haluska game or the OU comeback game.

Did all the students get in? When I came in at 6:15ish the student line was still past the west doors.
I assume the game thread is a hot mess until the 2nd half.
I called the game at about the 5 minute mark when we were up by 11ish. 8:55 real time.

It’s rarely been more than a couple minutes after when I have been able to watch the full ESPN+ replay basically right away. Occasionally 30 minutes or so after. Never the next day. A bit nervous there’s something fishy with the TX deal that will prevent this replay from being available, as it should be up by now. The Kansas/KSU full game replay was available right away (not ESPN+ but same app).

If someone finds it on YouTube, please post! TIA!
This ESPN+ thing is ridiculous. We’re solidifying ourselves as one of the top teams in the nation and nobody knows it. Heck there’s nothing even on sports center
