Groundbreaking coverage from Randy last night.
Can vouch for this. Absolutely electric crowd and atmosphere. You could actually see fear in the eyes of the Okie State players. If there was ever a game where the crowd willed the team to a win, that was it. You honestly can't quite describe it and do it justice.I was there..Hilton was definitely bouncing when everyone started stomping during late ft's. Still the best game of any sort I've attended.
It was insane for that game. For those saying this was the best atmosphere. So many other games beat it but this one was good. Here is the best one I remember

COLLEGE BASKETBALL NATIONAL ROUNDUP : Iowa State Comes Back for Upset of No. 2 Oklahoma State
Johnny Orr has been on the winning end of some big comebacks during his 42 years coaching basketball, but Orr said none compare to the one his Iowa State team staged Saturday against No. 2 Oklahoma State.www.latimes.com
It was insane for that game.
Yea Rice is #10 and he really seemed to have some issues with ball control. Seemed to dribble out really wide and away from his body, lost control a couple of times. It was weird.
The game that always seemed loud to me was the "Johnny Orr Returns" Michigan game. Does that compare to these other games?CW said in his postgame podcast that Hilton was as loud and electric since the 'Haluska game' in 2004. I find that hard to believe. I asked my friends and family via text if they agreed with that. They said it was incredible tonight but nothing like our comeback wins against Iowa when Monte hit the late jumper and the huge comeback against Oklahoma.
Well-stated.I'm not a guy that holds a grudge against Hunter, because he did great things here, and there are thousand reasons why a guy might transfer, none of which are any of my business. But I like the hell out of beating him tonight.
I remember the floor shaking and little kids with their hands over their ears. I was at the game and my friend said the announcers were saying "We can't hear each other so if we start talking over each other it's because we can't hear anything".
The other one I remember being out of control was the Texas player missing two free throws when he was like a 90 percent free throw shooter. That game was super loud.
I think he's talking about Brian Boddicker from the Wayne Morgan era.I think that was Okie State. They missed 2 (Forte?), Naz hits the buzzer beater to go to OT.

Not a fan of the swearing...never have been, never will be. But the Monopoly money? *chef's kiss*
The swearing really didn't come through the TV broadcast at all. Last year I remember being slightly embarrassed at the FU*K Bohannon chant, because that was very clearly coming through the TV speakers.
Yeah, I was lucky enough to go that game and it almost felt like everything was shaking from the noise.I remember the floor shaking and little kids with their hands over their ears. Is your goat named Colby? I didn't catch who sent in the pic, but I heard your wife sent a goat pic in for the Cyclone pets feature on the big screen. The Kansas game when we hosted BB game day was a pretty crazy atmosphere too
That is the one that came to mind from a TV viewing perspective. That was such a big game for so many reasons (especially Johnny returning) and Hilton looked fantastic. Very similar vibe last night. The game that always seemed loud to me was the "Johnny Orr Returns" Michigan game. Does that compare to these other games?
Wasn't there tonight but have been to all since Trickey days. Nothing compares to the OSU game. For those saying this was the best atmosphere. So many other games beat it but this one was good. Here is the best one I remember

Agreed. Darwin Alexander at the freethrow line down one... 90+ percent freethrow shooter... misses both.Wasn't there tonight but have been to all since Trickey days. Nothing compares to the OSU game.
