This is a game we could easily go and lose on the road. Missouri isn’t bad at all. We will win if we don’t have our heads in the gutter.

We’ve only played at home 2 times the last 8 years in this SEC challenge. How is that fair or even happen?
With this game, it'll be 4 times at home, 6 on the road according to a quick Wikipedia scan. Anyone know why?

I thought this too. According to wiki though in the 10 years its been done we have had 4 home to 6 road. First 2 years we had home games.

This will be the 8th year its been played in the middle of the Big 12 season, and in that stretch we have only had 2 home games.

This is the perfect emotional hedge game where Missouri will be a 1 or 2 pt underdog and I'll bet $50 on them hoping to lose it.

I just heard Mizzou is wearing Big 8 throwback uniforms for Saturday. I don’t think ISU has throwback uniforms but it would be awesome if ISU somehow had throwback uniforms from this era to wear Saturday.

Missou has been really up and down lately. They shot 16-30 from 3 the last game, and if they do that we are going to lose.

However, their prior 4 games they shot 18-97 from 3. They can go COOOOOLLLLDD. And if that happens it could be an actual blowout. I hope Grill can go because he just plays so tough on D.

Tough for non con teams to prepare for a team that plays like ISU. I expect us to wear them down and build an 8-10 point lead in the second half
They did just play Alabama, who doesn't exactly play the same style of D as us, but is a top-5 defensive team. Interestingly, even though both squads pride themselves on creating turnovers, it was a very low TO game - 10 for bama, 9 for Mizzou.

Bama won by 21 because Mizzou went 3-28 from 3pt range

Also Mizzou was without their best player, Kobe Brown, in that game.

Missouri has forced more TOs than they've committed in every game this year. We have done the same in every game but 1 (KU) . Unless someone is really hot or really cold from 3, the turnover battle will probably decide the game

I think we should sit Caleb and osun. Give them some rest and be ready for monday. This game doesn't mean much. Losing to an 0-8 tech team would mean alot more so have them ready for that game. and yes I know Osun is not hurt, but quick turn around for the big man and will be a tough game for him against batcho and aimaq

Disagree on Osun. That dude's window is getting smaller and smaller. He needs to capitalize on every opportunity he has to get to the next level, which includes playing his regular allotment of minutes Saturday.

One of the efficiency comps on Torvik for this Mizzou team is the 2013 ISU team.

That was the Aaron Craft year in the tourney. Clyburn, Lucious, Freshman Georges.

They could make it rain from 3 and beat some teams they probably shouldn't have, but also had propensity to go ice cold. And we know they didn't play much defense. That Iowa State team was BETTER defensively than this Mizzou team.

I think we suffocate Mizzou.
