If grill doesn’t play anymore till conference Tourney we may end up a 5-6 seed

I know we want better than that, but even if we are a 7 seed when it's all said and done so be it. I refuse to b!tch and moan like so many on here about our play when the league is literally the toughest league in decades of any conference, we are overachieving even making the tourney without being on the bubble, have 8 Q1 wins, 7 wins over ranked teams, and have a sh!t ton of games where we were missing key starters.

My fuckking god some fans are just pathetic dipsh!ts that get massive erections when we are doing bad so they can be as pessimistic as possible.

what a good in game coach would do when getting boatraced on the road in a game you were probably supposed to lose anyways

1. try something new. you've already most likely lost this game.
2. play some guys at the end of the bench.
3. get mad. show some emotion.
4. bench the guys that are playing horrible regardless of typical rotations and minutes.

Texas Carr on couple of those threes had such a high arc the net got caught up with the rim. Man he’s really an elite player. Going to be good in the NBA.

We just dont have the talent level most of the league has. Thankfully we punched above our weight early in the conference schedule to set us up for a decent seed in the tournament.

I can't wait for the talent upgrade coming in the next two years

This is where I’m at. There have been some great wins and losses I expected. Overall, we’re still doing way better than I expected preseason.

That, and he's also often gassed even with the minutes he is getting (which also probably is good for some fouls here and there)

This one had blow out written all over it. Texas is a bad matchup and it's the 2nd of back to back road games. I figured we would be tired and we've had a plethora of issues we've shown no signs of figuring out. Committing 15-16 + TOs on the road is a recipe for disaster, especially against teams that like to run. As a team we have progressively gotten worse in the TO department and that's not going to get it done on the road.

But hey, 7 of 7 from the line is nice.

Exactly what I was thinking. This team overachieved just like last year, now the other coaches have figured the team out and made the proper adjustments. T.J. and staff haven’t changed anything. T.J. getting destroyed in the coaching department the second half of conference play two years in a row.

Maybe, just maybe, we should be giving TJ credit for getting this team to 17 wins and an NCAA tournament berth given his squad. Pretty amazing when it’s unlikely anyone on the team will be first or second team all conference.

Doesn't matter tonight, but if we want to be serious about tourney, we have to make a lineup adjustment. I won't say who, but there are certain lineups where we aren't competitive.
