Our trapping is so ridiculously stupid. We have a weak double team 35 feet from the basket which results in a 4 on 3. Wide open shot gets missed but we have no one to rebound. Just horrible basketball.

The no-talent mantra is BS. The opposition has made adjustments the second time around the round-robin, and the ISU coaching staff has failed to counter.

The lack of talent may contribute to that inability to counter though

It is kind of interesting that the offense got better efficiency wise when Kunc was out and then as soon as he comes back and starts playing 20+ minutes the offense has gotten worse. I also feel like at times the defense has not been as good. Maybe it’s just a coincidence.

Guys just look beat up and mentally exhausted, and they're lost their confidence. The combination of injuries and ridiculously tough schedule has taken a toll. Need to really dig down deep, clear their heads, and find that second wind.
