Probably more that it coincides with Grill’s injury and seeing teams the second time around.
Not having Kunc the first time around would've ideally given US a leg up on teams the 2nd time around. Hasn't been the case. For whatever reason, having Kunc back seems to have junked up our offensive flow and rythym some

I asked a guru of brackets on Twitter privately if we lost out what’s the worst seed we would be. He said 7. I think it could be 8 but we aren’t missing the tourney.
We are in, what scares me a little about our seed is simply looking at last year. 11 quad 1 wins, 11 seed. Seems like the committee factored in something other than quad 1 wins and overall record. Final net ranking was 41 last year, how much will out NET drop after today? How much will it drop if we lose out?

Years are different, the big 12 is probably higher regarded, but it was very highly regarded last year too.

ISU very well may be a tournament team, but they are not playing like one at the moment. I trust TJ, but think it maybe wise to mix things up a little as the current strategy ain’t working.

I haven't seen them mix things up yet....love our coaches, but the same thing every game isn't getting it done. There is only so much a team can do with effort.

I know we dont see practice, but Holmes has been unplayable lately. Why not let Eli King play a few minutes just to try something different? Not talking 25 a game, but see what he gives you for 5-8 minutes.

First Quad 3 loss (on borderline of being only a Quad 2 loss, although it’ll probably end up being Q3).

Not dismissing today's **** show or recent s***-showings, but that's the non-partisan reality.

ISUs half court offense has been pretty bad all year. The difference was Grill and Gabe having a lot of crazy shooting days like IZB did last year. That combined with points off TOs because guys still had enough energy to play a crazy demanding style of defense.

It definitely could be the change with Jaz back, but it seems like more than that. If getting a starter back screws you up, then that’s a coaching problem.

Just need to get to the tourney and start over.

What can you do at this point?
We're offensively terrible at this point.
Holmes is slumping offensively
Gabe is slumping offensively
Grill is coming off an injury...
Kunz can't hit a 3...
Lipsey won't shoot a 3...
Watson hasn't played
Ward hasn't played...
Bob continues to dribble in a crowd...

Right now it's just a big bucket of suck.
...yet, if they can SOMEHOW put one good game together...ONE...Monday night against WV. They'll finish the Big12, the toughest league in America, no worse than 9-9.
But some guys have to find their stroke and quickly.
