Bet we're just sandbagging it..catch everyone off guard in the NCAA's like last season. Eh, keeps me off the ledge.

We're probably better off resting players for the season and focusing on March. The team seemed to do well after the long holiday break.

The fact that the defense was so poor in the second half was extremely puzzling. Worst team in the conference with nothing to play for absolutely dominates ISU who now is absolutely the worst team in the conference after arguably being the best the the first third of the conference season. Absolutely mind blowing how fast they have fell off the cliff. Looking back there didn't seem to be any sign that things were going to take such a dramatic downward turn. I mean WTF has happened to this team?
Grill's back injury coinciding with Gabe regressing is the major reason imo.

These guys are exhausted physically and mentally. Playing the type of defense we want to play wears on you. When you only play 8 guys in the first half and 7 guys in the 2nd half it's no wonder.
We have played 28 games, less than half of what an NBA team has played, and not that many more than most high school teams play in a season. The team played last Tuesday, and flew right back after the game, giving them 3 days of practice before they played today on the 4th day. They are all young guys, they should be approaching their physical peak and they are tired?

Sorry, I do not buy that argument, now if you would say mentally soft, then I might agree, but they should not be physically tired. While the season is a drag, they are young, and no one is playing 40 minutes a game.

I hate to say it but Nebraska’s crowd (a .500 team) playing an abysmal 7-19 Minnesota team puts today’s and last week’s Hilton to shame..
That’s not surprising. Hilton is only good for 3 games or so a year. Honestly can’t blame anyone for checking out now though. Were not enjoyable to watch overall.

Really bad game by Holmes. He’s a senior and like 35 years old, you would think he would have some damn composure and lead the team. And give at least a little effort.

He was off, his shots weren't even close. He gave effort, just off his game. As bad as his misses were I feel like his body was worn out.

I only dumbed you because of the effort thing. He showed effort.

Hello, I am a St. bonaventure fan just visiting. Holmes is playing now for you like he did last year at SBU. Bona was ranked as high as 16 last year and Holmes failures were one of the reasons they disapointed as the year went on, I was surprised at how he was playing for you earlier in the year. He played like that his junior year. One interesting fact is that in talking to those close to the Bona program they didn;t want him back, He was that bad. Shot 2 for 14 in their A10 tourney loss to St. Louis. Osun was always limited offensively, but was a defensive force. The problem with him was he was as soft as they come. No toughness. Bonas wanted to have him back along with Lofton at Florida and Welch at Alabama. I wish you luck as you continue on and stay out of WNY!

TJ and his staff deserve a ton of credit but they need to take the offensive side of the ball more seriously.

Osun has been the bigger disappointment in my opinion. I thought we were getting a dominant 5 to protect the rim; he's had his moments but I've been left wanting more. I just wonder if Holmes is tired; first half of conference play he was really good and a big reason for those wins.
