I win lt say exactly what I think it was but Caleb went from Mr nice guy on the court to a total attitude change the last year. Went from humble to cocky, couple cheap shots, trash talking guy. I know what I think it is but won’t say it. Have a smile and stfu up is what I’ll do.

BDJ was an NBA starter shortly after ISU before his untimely death. Yet…it seems if he’d have been kicked off ISU earlier they’d have been better off despite his obvious talent. That’s a talent of a magnitude higher.

Who knows what is going on. From a basketball perspective at least our best two players/starters overlap what Grill does. Lipsey and Osun are probably the only two guys we couldn’t make up for somehow in terms of skill set.

Maybe I wouldn't be so no negative if we weren't losing 10 out of 13 while this coaching staff doesn't even try to make adjustments and just covertly dismisses out best player for no reason.

If you think Grill is a better player than Holmes and Gabe you’re just a basketball moron.

Debatable if he’s any better than Jaz(way higher advanced stats), Osun and Lipsey. Probably not, maybe equal value back when he was happy and healthy.

It just seems to me that if it was just an attitude thing, it would be after the season, but the fact that it is right now it must have been pretty severe.
I’m sorry, but you aren’t accurate here.

Of course it is, I guess we'll see what the actual story is when it comes, will probably be just as absurd.

People talk about not biting the hand the feeds you, that can go both ways. This coaching staff better be careful of not running off players for ridiculous reasons. See Blake Hinson, Tristan Enaruna......

Start running off guys for petty **** and all of a sudden you are 3-15, not 8-10 and your job isn't secure much longer.
Hinson left because he didn’t want to play defense, and Enaruna left I believe because he didn’t like basketball. Those are really your examples? Guys who aren’t team players?

He was the best player on the team and the reason we started 5-1 in conference before his back injury.

We don't know all the details yet with Grill, but just thinking through the last ten or so years and all the locker room/team chemistry issues we've had. McKay, BDJ, Lard, Wiggington, Grill...and those are just top of my head. Seems like so much drama almost every year with players in this program all the way back to the Hoiberg years. Is there a common thread or problem here or do we just have really crappy luck?

Gabe was absolutely carrying the team at the beginning of the conference. He was scoring almost 18 ppg over the first 8 games of the conference schedule.

Grill was doing fine but he was not the best player at any extended point this year, not by a long shot.

It’s the new day of age. People suck nowadays with no morals or values like we used to.
