Sports are so weird, man. A few days ago we're staring down a sub-.500 Big 12 season after a hot start, the loss of a key player, and just a ton of negativity in general. Now we're .500 with a massive road win, a sweep of Baylor, and we defied an ugly trend of giving up big road leads.

I won't succumb to assuming this kind of performance being the new normal. But for today it feels good.

What in the actual **** happened today? Was Grill that much of a problem and we're just a better team now that he's no longer there? Or did cutting him have an unintended consequence of lighting a fire under their ass and waking them the hell up?

Man this is just what we needed. Huge win on the road agains a very good opponent!

Get to KC and just play hard, don’t even have to win a game to give us hope that we can make a run in March..
