If we put it up to the forum to vote who the closest hawk fan was between you two, im pretty sure i know who would lose that

I had the thought of running someone off the road today because I saw a TigerHok decal on their back window.

And it was like a 1/2 mile drive to Walgreens.

The ridiculous deep seeded hatred is deep seeded and ridiculous.

****ers.

Holmes is such an inefficient player. His field goal percentage is almost always terrible.
I'd say Holmes had a pretty huge year for us. He was very good yesterday. Today, KU had our number. Harris bottled up Gabe and Holmes couldn't do it all.

Hate to say it but credit to KU defense. They even played us very well down low. We tried to go inside, and couldn't do it consistently. We needed to shoot better. They had something do do with that tonight.

Ye of little faith. We brought our C- game tonight. If we bring our B+ or better game….. we win.

And KU, who closed out 8/9 wins in the toughest conference in the country by a mile, had a ton to do with ISU not succeeding.

And next week, ISU's first team might also make it really hard despite ISU's efforts.

That's how it goes.

So you don’t believe ISU can beat KU?

Oh wait….. you’re the closet Hawk fan aren’t you? Of course you don’t.
You ok? We played our a** off and lost. No shame in that. They had a great game plan with the simplest piece being Harris smothering Gabe the entire game. We all know this team is good enough to beat anyone on a given night. Wilson and **** are far and away the 2 best players between the 2 rosters, when they both play well and Harris controls the game like Monte Kansas is going to beat anyone 95% of the time.

Up 39-38 & then we went inside & couldn’t finish. We are what we are, some nights we can score but every night we battle on defense & the boards. Capable of another Sweet 16. Was waiting for Fran to praise the assistant filling in for Self but it was all about the team knowing Self’s system & coaching. BS- they were down 39-38 after blowing an 8 pt half time lead and the assistant knew how to calm them down, call time outs & sub in & out. Fran should have acknowledged the great job he did not letting the game get away. I’m guessing even Self gets tired of the media worship.

All TJ needs to do now is reduce Shoon’s minutes and we’re a final four team. We’re clearly better with Hassan and Watson getting those minutes. Addition by subtraction…
Its so frustrating. He has the tools to be great.

Not everything is just bad luck. In Ames, we played well enough that those guys didn't make those shots. We were a bit slow and off tonight. It wasn't a bad performance at all. But in order to beat Kansas WE needed to be better and stop Wilson from 'having a lottery pick' kind of night. I do think this is the kind of game where we probably missed good Caleb a bit.

What I liked about tonight was that we still looked fairly sharp. We didn't get that deer in the headlights look that we had for most of February. And we didn't freeze up when we got down by 8 in the first half. It was really good to see that this turnaround wasn't limited to Baylor.

And in Ames Shoon got the ball knocked away from him, and the ball bounced to Gabe for a made three, just for example.

Wilson was SHARP tonight and probably lights anyone up.

We didn't play great offensively but sometimes the better team wins, that's what happened here.

Need kunz to contribute a bit more, can't get nothing out of him moving forward. And we need to finish around the rim.

I hope everyone is this mellow during football season.
