I don't feel bad for Iowa but it really sucks for Houston that they have to play Auburn that close to their campus. A 1 seed shouldn't have to deal with that in the first round.

Well it is Sampson, so I don’t feel bad… at all.

I'm not in Iowa anymore but it seems like the $4million was a hit on every Iowan with a job.

Texas players look 3-4 feet higher every time they all go up for a rebound.

Another Tournament - Another Sweet Sixteen without Iowa. My 23-year old daughter has never been able to watch Iowa in the Sweet Sixteen.

Hopefully any children she will/may have will be able to make the same claim.

From an Iowa State perspective today went about as well as it could have. Even if we lose tomorrow, multiple higher seeds already took worse loses, and our biggest rival is out. That said, I love this ISU team and I really want a few more games from this group.

Pretty impressive Colgate is even this close with the way Texas is shooting. An average night from 3 for Texas and it's a very close game

I will say: Boo Buie is one of the best player names in the tournament.

Most interesting thing is seeing how healthy/full strength Houston is.

If they are full strength it's set up for them with home town final four. If they aren't I think they could struggle with Auburn even.
