Defense was fine, but a really, really bad time to have an awful shooting day. Just highlighted the structural problem with this team, especially without Grill. Just really didn't have any shooters to speak of, though Gabe and Jaren tried to fill that role. I'm sure this one will sting for a while, but hopefully they use that to fuel their fire over the summer.

Frustrating and very upsetting, but some of you are effing insufferable. Year two after winning two games. Playing great defense and yes the offense is not where it needs to be, but now we also have talent coming in. Excited to see where we are in 2-3 years from now.

That's an emotional and bad take. This group had us ranked near the top ten and in the top 25 most of the year in year two of a major rebuild. We got as much as we could have dreamed out of them.

i think the rising tide of the B12 floated all boats, especially this year. will be interesting to see how it plays out throughout this tournament. the variability we played with was off the charts, and we didn't seem to have a strong foundation/"floor." compared to our best games, we could be unbelievably ******, not just "regular ******."

we really need to figure out how to have more of a baseline gameplan that works consistently, and that is really on TJ and the other coaches. no one here is close enough to the team to define what that might look like.

At what point do we start asking questions about TJ’s coaching ability? I get we’re short on talent and he’s been cobbling these teams together but this is two years in a row with an absolute collapse.

Never.

Simply put, that was the most pathetic game I’ve ever seen.

Hit the portal hard, none of those guys coming back should have spots secured

I bet TJ will stew on this all summer and adjust the focus on offense in the future.
Well, he GD better. Anyone who bitched one bit about Manning in FB, should be on suicide watch after this offensive performance. If we are not better next year offensively, then it is time to evaluate whether TJ should be a recruiting assistant, where he is utterly spectacular. If not that, then he has to be required to give up the offensive reins to someone else. By the way, it must have been an incredibly inspirational halftime speech, which is also a yearlong pattern. Capel, who was run out of OU, completely outcoached TJ today to the point of embarrassment.

People may dumb the post, but excluding Baylor, the rest of the Big 12 is figuring out how to play against our defense (in case you forgot how much of February and March worked out for us). If we can't figure out how to score points consistently, we're not winning many Big 12 games in the future.
Well it will be an entirely new team next year so...

Who had the worse game?

Shoon
Kunc
Holmes

Personally I'd go Kunc (especially relative to capability), Shoon, then Holmes. I think Pit was a bad matchup for Bob especially when we had to rotate (quickly) and cover ground, something that's outside of his skillset.

The biggest F of the day goes to Otz. I think Cartman could have done a better job with his beanie pulled over his eyes. Complete lack of game management from the one guy (that's paid handsomely) to do that job.
