Thankfully that season is over.

Had a good run in January where it looked like we might amount to something but I've never had less fun watching a Cyclone team the last 6 weeks in my entire life.

Prohm 2-22 you must be really young. I'm impressed with your sentence structure.

Milan is supposed to be a guy.
If you think that they only need 1 guy, I think you're very mistaken. I'm very excited for Milan and think he's gonna be a very good player, but I worry TJ won't let him see the court enough if he's not immediately elite on defense no matter how much he could help offensively.

Plus, college basketball is a guard's game more than anything else. Banking on a couple freshman wings doing it all is a mistake IMO.

We are 3-4 NBA players away from a final four

Biliew is coming but we need STUDS in the portal who can score...

Keep in mind that Omaha is still developing on offense, far better known for his defense
Yeah, who is our scorer next year - that freshman white stretch forward? Need a couple Matt Thomas players.

That is some of the worst shooting you will ever see at the D1 level. Makes your eyes bleed. Our post players (Shoon, Ward, Jones, and Kunc) were 0-14 from the floor, and that does not count the 2-21 from 3%.

Does anyone else find it strange other teams do not even bother guarding our point guard? I don't think I have ever seen a point guard left open from the perimeter. They literally do not even guard him past 10 feet!!

People may dumb the post, but excluding Baylor, the rest of the Big 12 is figuring out how to play against our defense (in case you forgot how much of February and March worked out for us). If we can't figure out how to score points consistently, we're not winning many Big 12 games in the future.
Was our defense really the issue through that streak? Seemed to me like we had more offense issues. Not sure how you go through Feb and March with them figuring out our D and still have the best D in the conference.

That's an emotional and bad take. This group had us ranked near the top ten and in the top 25 most of the year in year two of a major rebuild. We got as much as we could have dreamed out of them.
Grill, IB, and Hunter had alot more to do with that than those other guys.

Perhaps next year we will wait to go through the formality of winning the game before we say things such as "Yes we can lose, but it will be the worst loss of the season if we do."

This reminds me of "Texas has no chance, end of story, on to the next game."-2012
It's Miller time.

Remind me to get a new cup before football season next year. I'll need a one year warranty.

It's apparent you haven't bothered watching this game as his performance has been worse than the team's. Keeping Ward out of the game for 12 minutes was insane. Didn't have the stats to show for it, but he was a game changer on defense when he game in. His ability to alter shots and rotate on defense is what started that comeback. Kunc getting more minutes than Watson was also insane given how band Kunc was in every facet of the game.

Then we get to the 2nd half and start to struggle, with some poor personnel decisions. We were trying to pound the ball low, which hadn't worked all day (was that a coaching decision) and Otz refuses to use his timeouts to rally his troops. At the 5.5 minute mark left in the 2nd half, being down 16, we had two timeouts. Explain that one away, genius?

It's awesome when clowns like you, Cyclonevet and others often trot out tired "you're an idiot" rather than actually attacking what was said. The answer to that is you are unable to really refute the points of the post because they are largely accurate.

Otz gets an A for bringing in talent, and A for general team cohesiveness, and a B+ for overall grade. But his in-game coaching and tactics, particularly set (timed) rotations, general lack of game feel, poor timeout usage, and struggles to implement set plays are woeful. Everything bad about Otz was on display today. I think that's pretty hard to refute (objectively).
You may be right on some things. But, you, my friend, are an idiot.

Still have to wonder if a certain player did not get his Bucks deal how different things might have been.
