I think the NCAA requires 2 makes per game. Many other sources (like the Big 12 conference for example) require 2.5 makes per game.
Clark averaged 9.5 attempts per game. All but #1 averaged 4 or more attempts per game and you are correct, every player listed had 2.0 or more makes per game. #1 was 50-97 in 25 games so almost 4 attempts per game and right at 2.0 makes per game, she is also the only one over 50% for the season.

I don't follow Iowa WBB closely but have they signed anyone out of the portal yet? You'd think with the national POY and a national title runner up there would a lot more news on this front with their need to find a post player. They already missed out on Betts and I don't find much when I search Google for portal transfers that are post players but lots of guard and wing players which Iowa is pretty set at. Will be interesting to see who they can get out of the portal as the team they having coming back should be all-in mode to make a run at a repeat appearance in the Final 4.

I found this for what it's worth: Iowa Basketball: Transfer portal targets Hawkeyes should consider (usatoday.com)

There doesn't seem to be a ton of interest from anyone that wants to come to Iowa. I've heard the coaches have reached out to all of the bigger portal targets and didn't receive much if any interest at all.

LSU got Van Lith today and rumors are that Morrow is visiting today through the weekend. LSU will probably win the title with just Van Lith and will for sure win it if they get Morrow. Mulkey might be starting a Geno type run and I wouldn't be surprised if she rattles off five or so national championships in the next seven or so years.

Just mind boggling how Iowa with all the hype and success they got this past season and returning Clark and a pretty talented roster is not enticing enough to land some talent of out the portal. I mean if you were a post player and saw what Clark did to elevate Czinano's game would you not want to look at playing there and having Clark just feed you the ball with good looks when the defense collapses on her? I didn't expect them to be in on Van Lith because she basically plays similar to Clark so didn't make much sense for her.

I dunno, I thought for sure Iowa would land a big name out of the portal, especially in the post given the season they just had. Crazy to think how ISU had all the defections they had and still landed a pretty solid post player in the portal despite that. I'm sure Mulkey is probably dishing out some decent NIL money right now too to land these players the past 2 years. I personally would not let my daughter player for her as I don't think she is a very good person in general. The whole "I'm in the know" comment and defense of the school when Baylor had the sexual assault scandal going on was just pathetic plus she makes everything about herself from her stupid outfits to talking about all her accomplishments whenever her teams wins something.

I agree, I thought Iowa might be an attractive landing spot too, but apparently Betts wanted to stay on the West Coast and Morrow wants to go to the SEC.

I also feel that Iowa got unfairly painted as the "white" team in the tournament and I'm not sure if a lot of minorities want to consider Iowa right now either. I have no basis for that, but I feel the Staley remarks, media coverage of Clark and the Reese behavior made Iowa into the villains for POC.

I wasn’t sure whether to laugh or dumb this because it’s equally funny and dumb.

Or Kirk’s racism may have had something to do with it.

It's funny how that happens when a school just gets done paying $4.2 million because of a racial discrimination lawsuit.

I look forward to this fantasy show collapsing next season. Her barking at her teammates during timeouts as her game is not the 2022 hype as teams find a way to slow her down. My opinion little chance of this being a back to back national story. And the white thing at Iowa is definitely a thing.

Do you think Iowa was “unfairly” painted as the “white” team, or do you think that people saw Iowa only has 2 or 3 non white girls on their roster?

Or could minorities not want to come to Iowa due to the notorious racist rhetoric the Iowa fan base exudes?

We get it. You don't like (maybe jealousy?) CC. But diversity is pretty similar across all 4 D1 women's programs in IOWA. Not just a U of Iowa thing. Not a lot of pull from any of the programs outside of the midwest and it reflects as much.

They probably just showed them the Iowa Rivals board and let that work itself out.
