How much do you think Charlie Kolar’s success at ISU influenced this kid? Local Norman guy who just killed it at TE for ISU for 4 years. Gotta think it helped.
Ah yes, our Norman high school farm system!

It absolutely helped. Having TE's get drafted is a big deal. We use them. How much do you think Charlie Kolar’s success at ISU influenced this kid? Local Norman guy who just killed it at TE for ISU for 4 years. Gotta think it helped.
Taylor is awesome! I call him a friend. I can see why kids want to play for him. No nonsense dude.It absolutely helped. Having TE's get drafted is a big deal. We use them.
Taylor Mouser is a recruiting asset too. Love that about him.
Kinda like North Star hockey games where Loooooooooooooooooou was once heard.Hopefully many years of COOP being heard at the Jack as PA says "that's another Iowa State First Down!"
I LOVED going to the old Met and watching those games! Dino was the best!Kinda like North Star hockey games where Loooooooooooooooooou was once heard.
Pair this with a hopefully improved OL and good RBs and we can absolutely win football gamesWe have a TON of young promising TE's. Mostly unproven still, but that room is loaded with potential. Here are the TE's that are sophomores and younger....
Tyler Moore
Gabe Burkle
Andrew Keller
Benjamin Brahmer
Carson Rhodes
Keaton Roskop 2024
Cooper Alexander 2024
That is a crazy list of talented TE's folks!

Agree. I think this season has the potential to be pretty bad, but if either Rocco or Kohl can establish themselves as our definite #1 QB this year, and the OL can improve under Clanton... I think the future could be pretty bright. Might just take a year or two to get there unfortunately. Patience will be required.... which is not my best trait.... as you all know!
I feel Tyler Moore is our next great TE. Can block, has good speed (maybe not quite as agile as Kolar but still athletic). Moore reminds me of a Soehner but a touch smaller and more nimble. We have a TON of young promising TE's. Mostly unproven still, but that room is loaded with potential. He’s not wrong though. Some weak offer lists on the other guys thus far.Gee, the other commits thank you for your tremendous praise.
When you get in early on guys and are among their first P5 offers, their offer lists are not going to be as impressive. It's a smart tactic in this world of NIL. So no offense, but I'm going to trust their judgement over yours. He’s not wrong though. Some weak offer lists on the other guys thus far.
I think that Rhodes is moving to OL after a GS year. Still, it's a good point. TE might be the most talented position on the roster. That and probably Safety. CB has the best starters we just don't know much about the depth behind them other than Porter. Unfortunately at TE, the staff failed to get some good recruits while we still had Allen and Kolar, so most of our talent is way young. But in a few years, this is going to be a very, very strong position for us.We have a TON of young promising TE's. Mostly unproven still, but that room is loaded with potential. With our WR disappointment I actually would not argue with giving Brahmer a shot at just flexing out and playing WR/TE early. He seems like a Blythe type player.
