As long as he doesn't teach him how to driveFran could adopt him if he’s simply looking for minutes.

That's the life of an introvert. People always think there's something awkward when they typically just don't like being social butterflies. This makes sense and I agree with that. He wanted to coach. He didn't want to conduct press conferences. The people I know that know him, do all like him. Admittedly though, they do find him to be a bit socially awkward.
What is the relationship and who is the “they” you’re referring to? If it’s Pollard I would tell Fred to take a flying **** if I were him.CW has been on the record several times Fred flirting with the Gophers job sundered that relationship on professional terms. They're still friends, but they don't want to work together again.
"They" is Jamie. And why should he?What is the relationship and who is the “they” you’re referring to? If it’s Pollard I would tell Fred to take a flying **** if I were him.
Like leaving. End of list. Not defending him but Leath did some pretty good things for us.
Bubu did it. My only issue was timing as he should have made his decision after Kane committed which would have opened up the scholarship for amardi (sp) who we really really could have used for post depth that year and ended up playing for Oregon instead.Bubu's accuser's Dad was a big donor to ISU and after the court concluded that the accuser fabricated evidence and cleared Bubu of any wrongdoing, Leath overruled Hoiberg and said Bubu can't come back to the team.
His grandpa coached Nebby also.It seemed like it was pretty out there that Fred was sick of the Ames fishbowl and people fawning over him like he was God. Taking the Nebraska job was a pretty good clue that he isn't concerned one iota about how ISU fans feel or think about it.

I mean he waited to take the Nebraska job to see if Prohm was going to Alabama, has been back to football games, and donates.
A bit off topic but I’d love to hear the real story about hiring Prohm over TJ the first time around. We have heard Pollard want to hire him but Leath forced Prohm. And we’ve heard Jamie knew TJ wasn’t ready and didn’t offer him the job.
Is that true? I highly doubt we would have worked to keep Prohm as hard as we did had Fred really wanted to come back.
It took Nebraska two weeks to fire Tim Miles after their last game. He said he knew was being fired for over a month. It was coincidentally announced the same day as Prohm's extension. Hoiberg was hired 4 days later. They didn't want to fire Miles until they knew they had Fred despite the rumors he was their guy.
TJ was also announced as UNLV's hire the day after Prohm's extension was announced. Both TJ and Fred were waiting to see what Prohm was going to do.
I can only imagine what this board would have been like had Prohm left and we had chosen to hire TJ instead of Fred
Fred held onto the offer from Nebraska for several days before Steve's decision to stay, and Jamie was not going to stop Steve from taking the Alabama job either. Not sure why he got an extension out of it thoughIt took Nebraska two weeks to fire Tim Miles after their last game. He said he knew was being fired for over a month.
