No rebuttal tweets from Colorado AD Rick George, which would have happened by now if this wasn't legit.

This is the guy who shot down mHver tweets for crying out loud.

I bet the other is Utah. They're seeing the writing writing on the wall.

I'm going to bet on the other being Washington because they are "contemplating" it...last leak hail mary for a B1G invite.

Hmmm. Oregon and Washington likely think they’re too good for us. Stanford likely doesn’t feel we’re smart enough. So possibly Cal? Would be marginally better than Oregon State or Washington State.
I would guess Oregon. They don't fit the B1G nearly as well as UW. UW has bigger/better tv markets (matters to BTN), better academics, larger endowment... just a better B1G fit.

People think Oregon is great because they have had football success, but as an institution UW is much closer to the rest of the B1G than Oregon. IIRC, I said earlier in this thread that Stanford is likely higher on B1G list than Oregon. So put my chips on Oregon as the mystery fit.

Although it also could be a BY rumor to get AZ off the pot lol. "I see many things… I see plans within plans"

Seriously, what would you do right now if you're UO or UW?
  • You conference is on the verge of collapse.
  • Even if your conference survives, you know your payout and exposure will pale in comparison to what you'd receive in the Big 12.
  • While a Big 10 invite might eventually come, you can't see it anywhere on the horizon.
