Just watched the Venture Brothers: Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart last night.

It's the series ending movie. It puts a bow on the entire show, and does a pretty good job, in my opinion. Of course, I will always want more Venture Brothers. In my opinion, it's one of the best shows of the last 20 years. But if it had to have an end, this was a fitting one. They answered a lot of the lingering questions, and closed out the overarching plot. I enjoyed it.

Well since the Ted Lasso thread got shutdown (thanks a lot to those that ruined that thread...) just finished watching the last episode last night after binge watching the entire series the past month or so. What a great show. While they wrapped up a lot of stuff in the final episode I hope with the success of the show they consider trying another season as I think they left enough meat on the bone to continue some storylines. As great as Sudeikis is I think my favorite character by the end was Roy Kent. The only episode that I think disappointed in the whole series was the coach Beard episode that was just weird and was kind of a "1 off" episode that didn't really tie into the vibe the rest of the series had.

That was put together on really short notice because Apple wanted an extra two episodes that season, that's why you got the Christmas episode and the After Hours episode.

3 episodes in on The Bear. Stressful but enjoyable so far

Said it earlier in the thread but in my restaurant work days I didn't see anything as dysfunctional as what's in this show but definitely saw some things.

The front of house/eating area can be going just fine and dandy while people are freaking out in the kitchen or on the food line.

Going back thru and watching the Sopranos.
Best actor/actress for the whole series is the guy that plays Junior.

I've never seen an episode and thought about jumping into this. I just finished Entourage as I had only seen the first season.

I've only seen the first few episodes of The Wire and really want to move on to that. And I wanna rewatch seasons 1 and 2 of Westworld, ******* love that ****.

However Roku and Netflix keep trying to shove Suites down my throat so I gave in and watched the first few and now I'm hooked into that

Just finished it again last week! My gf had never watched it, so it was new for her. She was PISSED at the last episode LOL. She grabbed the remote to figure out why the screen went black and then realized "that was it". Her expression was priceless and I could only laugh because I knew it was coming!

Westworld season 1 moved too slow for me so I threw in the towel.
The Wire is probably my favorite show ever.

Just keep at it with The Bear.. you won't be disappointed. I nearly quit watching that show after the first episode... way too stressful. It only gets better... and season 2 is even better than season 1 IMO. Possibly my favorite show ever, but I think I'd still put Breaking Bad above it.

Watched Suits years ago & we've started watching again when nothing else sounds good since it's just there on Netflix now. Damn good show.

I need to add both of these to the list. I've seen the first episode of Breaking Bad multiple times and must not have been intrigued enough to continue and moved on to others on the list. I know I need to get a few episodes in and I'll be hooked. Love both actors.

Breaking Bad and The Sopranos are the two best series ever, IMO. Great enough that, when they're over, you have a sad because there are so few options out there that compare.
