Who knew putting gambling in an app on your phone would lead to this?
I get that, it's definitely illegal and rightly so. I'm just saying that there is still no reason to question the integrity of any FB game results, because he didn't play. The DCI concluded that nobody placed bets on games they played in. So that's good, at least.Doesn’t matter, though. He has inside information on game plans, injuries, strategies … while he can’t point-shave or affect the outcome himself (and he had no idea when he placed the bet whether he might have ended up playing), it’s still a hard no to bet on your own team’s games.
Yeah, I heard their were 3 different groups, so that matches up. I didn't hear any of the actual punishments.I’d heard there was one player who’s out for the year, a few 6 games, and the rest 1 game. I’m guessing Dekkers was by far the biggest offender. And obviously being the starting QB is a huge deal as well.

Anyone with a brain.Who knew putting gambling in an app on your phone would lead to this?
So Hunter is done in college, he won't be able to play anywhere. So is it too late to try and get to an NFL camp? He's 3 years removed from High School.
He didn't play
Yeah, he gone.
You can’t bet on games your own team is playing. You just can’t.
It lead to them getting caught. Before the app it all happened in the dark with the campus bookieWho knew putting gambling in an app on your phone would lead to this?
The NFL loves gamblers so I'm sure they'll be beating down his door...So Hunter is done in college, he won't be able to play anywhere. So is it too late to try and get to an NFL camp? He's 3 years removed from High School.

Sure, but he didn't play in the FB game he bet on, the OSU one.He played a couple of series in 4 or 5 games that same season. So DCI either lied, or just didn't know quite yet.
Whether it's too late or not, doesn't matter, no NFL team would touch him with a 100 foot pole. You can bet on that. And the only reason isn't his gambling. So Hunter is done in college, he won't be able to play anywhere. So is it too late to try and get to an NFL camp? He's 3 years removed from High School.
